Smarter Training, Happier Dogs
After college, I launched my career with hands-on experience at zoos and aquariums nationwide, working with species from ferrets to beluga whales. This proved positive, science-backed training methods are universally effective. My B.S. in Animal Biology honed my problem-solving skills and adaptability. I’ve since implemented training programs for various local agencies, including a service dog program where I trained and placed dogs across the country. I'm passionate about bringing these professional, relationship-based techniques to you and your pet.

What to expect
Consultation
During you initial consultation, we'll discuss your training goals, then narrow it down to the top 2-3, depending on your availability and/or time willing to give to the process. I provide relevant hand outs at all of our sessions, while also typing up a session recap, provided to you by either email or text (pick your preference). Our recap notes will include homework and things to work on, and videos/pictures from our sessions. I am available to contact with questions during standard banking hours. After we discuss your goals, we will get started with some basic skills right away!
Sessions
During your sessions, we will spend time talking about your dogs behavior, any successes you had since the last session, and answer any questions. Depending on the dog's progress and your comfortability, we'll continue working through behaviors, and make changes as needed.
More info
Rewards and Relationship based training for all. I focus on teaching pet owners how to best communicate with their dogs, while also guiding them through the best ways to teach the dog in front of us. It isn't a simple "copy/paste". What works for one dog, doesn't work for all dogs.
