Mindful Method Pawsitive Training
I offer house sitting with training, to fully encompass my care package. I have also been in your position, and in my young adult life I hired a professional dog trainer to come to my home and help me with my two German Shepherd siblings, so I understand from both perspectives. Several years ago I began volunteering as a foster dog mom and bark buddy at Pet Alliance, then also joined forces with Husky Haven of Florida. I’m still an active volunteer. My passion centers around dogs; I’m entirely invested to help you and your fur-babies achieve your ultimate success stories.

What to expect
Consultation
Step 1: Neutral, Public Meet & Greet (15 mins) – We meet at a local public area to assess your dog’s baseline behavior, comfort level, and body language in an open environment. Step 2: Behavioral Assessment – We discuss your specific training goals, daily routines, and any challenges you are facing. Step 3: The Custom Plan – I design a step-by-step, positive reinforcement training strategy tailored exactly to your dog's needs. Step 4: Next Steps – We map out our future schedule to set you up for success!
Sessions
What a Typical 60-Minute Session Looks Like: 🙋♀️Arrival & Check-In (5 mins): We review progress from our last session (or M&G) and address any new behaviors. 🧠 Active Training (35 mins): Focused, positive reinforcement drills. We break tasks into short, fun steps to keep your dog engaged and successful. 🐾 Owner Coaching (15 mins): I hand over the leash! You practice the cues with my guidance so you feel confident training solo. 📝 Wrap-Up (5 mins): We review your personalized homework sheet and lock in your goals for the week.
More info
House sitting can be bundled with training for all-inclusiveness. I practice a force-free, intuitive mindful philosophy, focused heavily on positive reinforcement, emotional connection and mutual understanding. I use reward-based learning (high-value treats, toys, praise & pets to mark and reinforce desirable behaviors) to encompass a successful transformation. Together, we establish reliable, long-term behavior changes and a deeper bond between you and your dog. *Positive Methods Only: I never use slip leads, prong collars, choke chains, or electronic shock collars.
