Pawsitively Getting Sit Done!
What sets me apart is that I don’t just train dogs, I teach owners how to understand and communicate with them. I focus heavily on canine body language, relationship-building, and creating trust-based results through respect, not fear. I believe training is most successful when the human learns alongside the dog, and I tailor my approach to each dog’s individual needs, temperament, and learning style.

What to expect
Consultation
I use the consultation to sit and observe the relationship between you and your dog, talk about any behaviors or goals you have, and get a feel for where you’re both at. From there, we go over what I’m seeing and I come up with a training and behavior plan tailored to you and your dog. My goal is to help owners better understand their dog and leave with a clear path forward.
Sessions
In a typical session, I’m demonstrating to the owner how to properly address unwanted behaviors by redirecting and counteracting them with a more desirable behavior. I work hands-on with both owner and dog so the dog learns to listen and respond with respect, while the owner gains confidence handling them. Between sessions there will be homework and practice, because consistency outside of training is a big part of success.
More info
I focus on teaching owners how to successfully communicate with and understand their dog by helping them read canine body language and understand how dogs think and operate. My training philosophy centers on strengthening the human-canine bond through trust, consistency, and clear communication, leading to respect rather than fear. I believe when owners are educated and involved in the process, training becomes more effective, lasting, and rewarding for both dog and human.

Availability
I’m available all day Saturdays and Sundays, and after 12:30 PM on Thursdays. I have flexibility within those times and am happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that works best. I like to train when both dogs and owners can be focused and comfortable so everyone gets the most out of each session.
