I only utilize positive reinforcement methods. I make recommendations for puppy owners regarding getting proper set up equipment and guide them in the right direction with potty training and proper leash walking. I set up them up for success and let them know I am available to guide and encourage them along the way. I would encourage parents to note any behavior issues developing in between sessions and bring them to my attention so we can work on them in our subsequent sessions. I would set up realistic goals and expectations and duration of training sessions. .

Consultation
I work with puppies, primarily. During consultation I ask parents a lot questions about their lifestyle, and explain to them the level of commitment required for good results. I share information about the characteristics of their dog breed and answer their questions. I make recommendations on the proper leash,harness,crate, gates and treat to use during training. I encourage them to book me to be there when the puppy first arrives so I can be there to help them set up the areas where the puppy will be.
Sessions
Clients should make sure the puppy's vaccination records are up to date as training cannot begin without this. Have high value treats ready before all training sessions and puppy outfitted with the proper equipment.If they are not able to be present during sessions, we will discuss before hand how they would like to be briefed after the sessions. If they are able to be present then they will expect to doing the work after me demonstrating. I will always give home work after each sessions as I want the parents to maintain the practice to get lasting results.

I teach parents how to train their dogs. I work with the dogs first and then teach the parent how to train their dogs. I encourage parents to keep practicing what I taught them with their dogs on a consistent basis, because in order to get lasting results practicing with their dogs consistently with yield lasting results.
