Frustration-free training
I began training my own dogs for sports back in the early 2000s as a teenager, and I've had a few reactive dogs as well. As the science around training has evolved, I have done the same. I now embrace positive training as *the* way to solve frustrating miscommunication between dogs, the human world, and their guardians. I spent two years assisting group classes for both puppies and adult dogs. I continue to learn from books, courses, and my dog training peers every day. Presently, I am enrolled in Victoria Stilwell Academy with plans to earn my VSA-CDT in 2026.

What to expect
Consultation
During your initial consultation, I will ask about your dog's past behavior, medications, vaccinations, and any other training you have done together (or apart) previously. This is a judgement-free zone! We'll also talk about your goals. This will help me begin to build a positive training plan for you and your dog.
Sessions
Each session is specially tailored to you and your dog. You will need a ~6 foot leash, a flat/martingale collar or harness, and lots of treats! A treat bag is especially helpful, but not required. We'll work on your training plan and you'll get real-time feedback. After the session, you will be sent a written summary and next steps (homework) to work on between sessions.
More info
I want both dogs and their people to live in harmony. I strive to educate owners and provide them with the positive tools they need to build a lasting relationship with their dog(s). That doesn't mean letting your dog get away with everything, though! Setting boundaries with your dog can be done with positive reinforcement, too.
