Science-Based Canine Training
What sets me apart is my personalized, judgment-free approach. Every dog and family is unique, so I create training plans tailored to your goals and your dog’s individual needs. Using compassionate, science-based methods, I help build confidence, improve behavior, and strengthen the bond between you and your dog. I am ABCDT certified and currently pursuing my CPDT-KA certification. To make quality training more accessible, I currently offer discounted rates while continuing my professional development.

What to expect
Consultation
Your first consultation is free and comes with no commitment. It can be completed by phone or in person based on your preference. During in-home consultations, I ask that your dog remain on-leash upon my arrival and that you have a high-value reward available if redirection is needed. Proof of current vaccinations is required before any in-person meet-and-greets for safety purposes. This consultation allows me to learn about your dog, their history, your training goals, and any factors that will help me create a personalized plan for success.
Sessions
During the first session, I introduce my training methods and explain how positive reinforcement-based techniques help dogs learn effectively, comfortably, and confidently. I demonstrate personalized exercises based on your dog’s needs while educating owners on the importance of consistency, clear communication, marker words, and no-reward markers. We will work through behavior-specific exercises using trainer demonstrations, owner practice, and real-time feedback to ensure you feel confident continuing the training process. Sessions can be scheduled individually or purchased as a package.
More info
When training your furry friend, I always use a LIMA approach (Least intrusive, Minimally aversive) training approach. This approach is rooted in evidence-based, positive reinforcement methods that prioritize clear communication, trust, and lasting behavioral change. By rewarding desired behaviors and teaching dogs what to do rather than relying on punishment, I help build reliable obedience, confidence, and a strong, healthy human-canine bond. Every training plan is tailored to each dog’s individual temperament, learning style, and goals.

Availability
My work schedule varies from time to time so my schedule is pretty flexible unless otherwise noted! I typically have the most availability in the mornings (8am-12pm) however, if you schedule early enough out I may have some spots later on (3pm-7pm) When booking, any dates/times unavailable will already be marked off on my rover calander, anything else not blocked off is open for grabs!
