Welcome to The Classy Dog Trainer I’m a Force-Free Trainer who uses holistic + creative + Positive Reinforcement methods to help you and your dog build a better bond at home and with the outside world. What to expect
Consultation
What is your dog's origin story? How old and what breed are they? Do they have any allergies? What is their favorite toys / treats? .. In our consultation - I am here to listen to you and your current dog's situation. We will identify your Dog’s motivators, and then design a Training Plan to help you and your dog reach his/her goals. Woof!
Sessions
A typical session will be an agreed upon Location Meeting and Time. You can choose to have me do Private Day Training with your dog or request for Private In-Person Lessons. (I usually recommend at least 2 Private Day Training sessions before an In-Person Lesson). Easy + Fun hw assignments will be given— broken down into small baby-steps for you and your dog to transform in-between sessions. Between you (the Dog Parent) and I-- we will work to setup a routine, prevention plan, and/or schedule to best setup you and your dog - for Success.

I believe in using Positive Reinforcement, LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimal Aversive) techniques, and loving, firm boundaries. Behavior modification is not a one-time or 15min. fix, but a process in bringing new and lasting change to both you and your dog. In my training -- I'll go over Pup psychology, creative enrichment, and tools for you and your dog to build a stronger bond to reduce unwanted behaviors. It's my goal to ultimately, help you and your dog live a more enjoyable life together. **Currently, only taking dogs at 60lbs and Under + w/ Updated Vaccines**

Consultation Process: First, we’ll set up a brief Phone/Virtual Call, then an In-Person Meet and Greet. The phone call will be a time for us to have a Brief Introduction, Background History Check of your dog, and to make space if you have any Questions before an In-Person Consultation. Pl3AS3 be patient as I find time to fit you into my Schedule. My Training availability falls on: Mon, Wed-Fri., and occasional Weekends. Let's train your dog!
