Confident Dogs. Happy Families.

What sets me apart is treating every dog as an individual there is no one size fits all approach. I tailor each program to personality, temperament, and goals, from puppy basics to confidence building and reactivity work. As both a trainer and caregiver, I focus on real world results, not just session obedience. Training is built into daily structure with clear communication and consistency so dogs understand expectations in real life. I specialize in fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs, focusing on patience, confidence, and lasting change that strengthens the bond with their families.

What to expect

Consultation

During the consultation, we’ll review your dog’s history, routine, behaviors, and goals. I’ll observe your dog, assess temperament and current skills, and identify challenges affecting progress. You’ll have time to ask questions and share concerns. I may demonstrate training techniques and provide immediate management strategies. Please bring your dog’s routine, behavior, goals, and any vet or training history. Afterward, I’ll provide a customized training plan and recommend the best path forward, including private lessons, boarding and training, puppy training, or behavior modification.

Sessions

Typically in your home

A typical training session is structured, focused, and tailored to your dog’s progress and goals. We start by reviewing progress and challenges, then move into obedience, engagement, impulse control, or behavior work. Training is real world based, using distractions and everyday environments so your dog learns to respond reliably outside sessions. I focus on clear communication, consistency, and timing. After each session, I send video updates and a step by step training plan customized to your dog. Consistency between sessions is key to lasting results and steady real life progress.

Positive Reinforcement

My training philosophy is built on clear communication, structure, consistency, and understanding each dog as an individual. I tailor training to each dog’s personality and needs, focusing on engagement, trust, and teaching good choices through fair guidance and accountability. We build from obedience and impulse control into confidence and real world reliability. For fearful or reactive dogs, I work at a pace that sets them up for success while building confidence. My goal is calm, confident, well mannered dogs who thrive at home and in public while strengthening the bond with their families.

Availability

I typically prefer to train during the early morning and early evening hours, as these times often provide the best environment for focused training and real world practice. However, I have a flexible schedule and am happy to work with pet parents to find times that fit their needs. Whether it’s weekday mornings, evenings, or weekends, I do my best to accommodate a variety of schedules while ensuring each dog receives the time and attention they deserve.
