Training with love and get results!
I understand most dog owners have very busy schedules. My goal is to customize your training plan to suit your lifestyle and to set you up for success!

Consultation
During the consultation, I like to meet with the clients before meeting their dog to discuss training goals and any other skills which are priorities. Next, I like to meet the dog and to give an example of some of the techniques I use to meet those goals. Last, I like to leave my clients with 2-3 things they can start using now while we finalize training plans.
Sessions
Dog owners should bring a treat pouch and high-value treats. Dogs should have a flat buckle collar and/or a well-fitted harness and a 4-6 foot leash (non-retractable preferred). My certification is in Positive Reinforcement so E-collars, pinch collars, prong collars, and choke chains are not allowed. The only other thing required of dog owners is an open mind and a positive attitude! Between sessions, you will be provided with an email listing the upcoming week's goals and strategies. My expectation is you try the techniques out to the best of your ability and come with any questions.
More info
My focus is on building and improving the relationship between the family and their dogs. To do that, I first hone in on building a working relationship with the dog, and I use positive reinforcement techniques which offers the dog a choice. When the dog chooses the right behavior, learning happens the fastest! At the end of our sessions together, my goal is to make sure you have the tools to better understand and work with your dog and to deepen your connection together.
