Down To Earth Dog Training
It is rare for trainer to be able to gain a formal in-person education for training. I have the proper education and experience it requires to be able to be in touch with problem solving complex issues. I also have worked with service dogs and am able to work with clients on that path as well. No question is a dumb question, no concern goes without help, and no dog is a lost cause! Every client of mine gets to experienced hands on custom training plans with steady and communicative expertise, where we take things at the dogs pace.

What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation, I ask questions about general welfare and begin hypothesis on problems and solutions. I listen and take notes on environment and clients concerns. I then like to work with the dog to start building trust and a bond or to see problem behaviors on display.
Sessions
Typical sessions last an hour to an hour and 30 minutes long. We start to accomplish goals from your custom training plan, and adjust to how the dog is handling the experience to make sure it is positive and effective. At the end of every session, you will receive a text listing homework to work on before the next session. I also offer support throughout the week over text and sometimes call if needed. It is my job to help my clients succeed!
More info
Practice makes progress! I work with dogs that have very specific needs or need help problem solving little behaviors. I take joy in working with dogs of all shapes in sizes. The goal is to see progress, and how we get there depends on everything the dog tells me it needs and responds to. Every dog is different, so I create custom training plans for every single dog and household.
