Training for Puppy Parents!
Dogs should be allowed to be dog. It's our job to help our dogs live their best life. Every dog and every owner has different needs and I will take that into account and don't have a "one size fits all" to training as that's just not how dogs are. We must adapt and help our dogs to do so with their environments. Let's help make our dogs confident and content!

What to expect
Consultation
During a typical consultation I will review your goals and expectations for the dog and get to know the dog. I will take the first few minutes to get to know the dog and observe their behavior, whether that means we get to play, cuddle or simply build trust. I base all training off the dogs health and wellness needs as a first and foremost.
Sessions
Training will be fun and educational. My goal is for every session our dogs to go away with better confidence and our humans to go away feeling like they learned something and made some progress. Pet parents should be sure to have treats safe for their pup (I will discuss allergies beforehand to have treats too), a non-retractable 6ft or shorter leash, and poop bags just in case (I will have some but still). Vaccines should be up to date depending on age of the dog and we will discuss this during consultation too. Training is provided in the pet parents home or in a public space.
More info
I am certified with GoodPup Trainer Certification Program. Through this training I believe in a positive reinforcement based training. My focus is not pressuring our dogs, but making them comfortable and safe. Our job as trainers and owners is to provide our dog with the best life we can give them. We do this by learning how to communicate effectively with our dogs (communication is a two way street!) and encouraging good behavior and redirect undiserable traits. Join me in helping build your bond with your pup!
