No pet is too naughty. I can help.
I have a lot of experience working with people. I love explaining concepts to new pet owners and helping with more complicated issues as well. My favorite skills to work on are getting dogs comfortable with grooming and veterinary care. If going to either of those places or even just nail trims are a struggle, I am here to help.

What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation we will discuss your dog's history and environment as well as what behavior you are looking to change. Its best if the whole family is there to provide information. Please have your dog confined to a crate or on a leash when I enter and have some of their favorite treats ready.
Sessions
During training sessions typically I will begin by explaining what we will work on and why this will help. If its a skill that your dog needs to learn, I will start teaching them and then watch you work with them as well. Always have lots of tasty treats for them to reinforce good behavior. Between sessions you will have time to practice the skills with your dog so we are ready to move to the next step at the next session.
More info
The key is to make it very reinforcing to do the correct thing and very difficult or impossible to do the wrong thing. Combining management with positive reinforcement sets them up for success.
