Learning is a grand adventure!
I strive to help my clients understand the learning process. Coaching my clients through the exercises and explaining things so they understand. Analogies my clients understand help them learn as well.

What to expect
Consultation
We will sit for an hour and discuss concerns and goals. What has been done so far and learning history of client and dog. Put a training plan to start with and I provide handouts and a remote profile for resources and homework. The last half an hour will be devoted to demonstration and coaching through the process as long as conversations have not gone over.
Sessions
I check in with my client on progress between sessions. Discuss of we need modification or move forward. Coaching through the exercises to build my clients skillset. Many times I will record for further training tools.
More info
Welfare and relationship are the most important parts of my working relationship for both the dog and the guardian. It is important for me to coach my clients in understanding of the dog in front of them, recommend prevention and management when cases need them and how to best set themselves and their pup up for success. If a plan isn't working then we work together to find the least stressful and effective low stress approach to learning. Teaching your pups should be fun and if we look at it like a game with our dogs then learning is much more effective and life long.
