What to expect

Consultation

During our first consultation, we will review the behaviors and I will develop a behavior plan and process to help you reach your goals. We will instantly get started the first session with the first training. Whether you have a new puppy, rescue, and/or are trying to resolve certain behaviors or learn basic obedience, I will develop an easy step-by-step plan where I will guide you in the practice session, so there’s no second guessing at all on what to do when I leave. I send a written review of what we went over each session.

Sessions

Typically in your home

A typical session involves discussion about behaviors and practicing the skills necessary to create behavior change. I will guide you throughout the session and you will find it easy to follow — I’m happy to include the entire family in this process! Whether it’s learning basic manners, complex tricks, navigating puppy behaviors, anxiety, destructive behaviors, or other behaviors of concern we will focus on resolutions and prevention. I will answer all questions you have during our time together and you will know exactly the plan. I absolutely love what I do - we will have a great time!

I’m a dog training nerd with an MA degree in Applied Behavior Analysis— I’m passionate about teaching owners the ins and outs of puppy training, dog training, and I’ve trained service animals, too! I'm also experienced with cats. Each weekly session, I will leave you and your pup more bonded, plus more assured. If you’re looking for a trainer who values evidence over ego and treats over "taps," you’re in the right place! No outdated dominance theories over here.
