About: I’m Jessica! Sitter and caregiver to your pets! I also do short term fostering and am a cat kennel assistant volunteer at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. My husband and I have two dogs, Maki (Brindle Belgian Malinois mix) & Turbo (American Staffordshire Terrier/Black Lab mix) who are sweet, goofy, smart babies. Totally spoiled! Many of the pet pics are with my husband, Joe, bc I never get good ones of myself apparently ha. Not only did I grow up in a pet loving family that allowed me to get to know and love many different breeds and types of fur babies, but I have been trusted to pet sit by friends, neighbors, and relatives many many times over the years. Several of the photos up are of foster pups and of some I’ve rescued. Some of my skills include potty training, social training, aggression correction with puppies, recognizing early illness symptoms and care. I’m trained to watch, recommend and act when medical treatment is needed. I also have experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications with dogs and cats. I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking your pup. I also enjoy hiking the trails at ruffner mountain. I offer cuddles and companionship for the pup or kitty that prefers laps and affection over walks or hikes. I don’t mind sitting at my home or yours. I stay home and have a very flexible schedule. I offer additional services like bathing your dog + $15 Teeth brushing ear cleaning and nail clipping + $10 Deshedding or brushing + $5 Let me know if they have allergies so I can use hypoallergenic soap. These services are not limited to boarding I can do them for doggy day care or if you want me to pick them up and bring them home clean for an additional $15 I can do as well. Me and my husband work together by tag teaming. I work from about 9-4 and he stays home with the kids and helps care for the dogs in my care while I’m away. I get up early so they will be taken out 2 times before I ever leave for work When I care for pets in my home or someone else’s, I make sure they have fresh water, healthy food, and a clean, safe environment at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules and any medical routines like giving medication. I spend quality time with the pets by playing with them, grooming them, and giving them attention so they feel loved and comfortable. About: I have experience in vet care for 3 years. I have been raised on a farm my whole life taking care of large animals of every kind. I have bottle fed different types of animals from your typical kitten to your special recused baby bat. I devote my time to helping different rescues and have been involved in rescue/rehabilitation/release programs for 13 years and counting. I work from home so I have plenty of time to care for others furry family members! I am available to drop in Monday through Saturday from 8am-8pm. I am able to offer daycare options Monday through Saturday from 10am-7pm. I have a fenced in yard and a puppy dog of my own to keep yours company. I have cats that are very loving towards other animals and would love to have play dates! I am able to crate train as needed upon request. I have 5 horses and 4 dogs at present and I'm looking to do what I love with your baby or babies. I always have safety in mind, always keeping a potential problem from ever arising.. Your baby would be right in my home with me or your home if preferred. I'm a homemaker, pet care giver of my animals, I also keep my grandpup at times for my daughter. I'm a 59 year old female that has time her hands and would love to do what I love for others that can't. I live away from a main road, have 15 acres, I have one crate for my grandpup if she out I need it, but she usually hangs out in my home with my inside dog and they play a lot. I can take her out to potty on a leash or let her be loose, she has graduated from the leash to being loose. So careful with her because that's my daughters baby, I would be like that with yours. I know puppies have to go out frequently to potty and keep them right there with me as close as possible.
