About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info should all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: Hi there! My name is Samantha and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had my rescue Yellow Lab mix, a German Shepherd mix, a Shitzu Poodle, and two cats. I adopted and trained the sweetest rescue boy in 2019. I am also an auntie to many dogs I care for when my friends and family travel. Open for walks and drop in visits in northern Minnesota! My dog lives a very active lifestle along with me! We paddle board, swim, go for runs, long walks, hike, and backpack as much as we can. I am very accustomed to getting him the exercise he needs and have the energy to help make sure your pets get the exercise and care that they need. From pet sitting for my friends and family, to fostering, to taking care of my own pet, I’ve got experience with it all! My dog is a runner. He would chase bunnies and squirrels all day long if he could, and I would if it wasn't for the real danger of traffic and living in the city. Maybe someday we will be lucky enough to own acerage :) For now, I take extreme care of his physical stimulation every day to make sure he is fully active and happy. I have come to understand dogs who run, and I take extreme precaution with dogs who are like mine. I also understand a dog’s needed routine like grooming and feeding, and can administer oral medication for you while you are away. If I ever need to board my dog, we drive an hour for boarding where he can play and run on a farm all day with other dogs, so I understand the value of your dog having access to the outdoors and lots of love.

About: I have fostered dogs for 6 years through Save-A-Bull and Ruff Start Rescue with my family. All of which have been pit bulls or pit bull mixes. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes ranging from Pomeranians to Great Danes and have loved all of them :) I've also owned and cared for snakes, small rodents, birds, and cats so I'm comfortable with all animals! I'm a part-time college student focusing on my American Sign Language degree. I have been passionate about animals all my life and I enjoy meeting new faces. I'm able to give oral medications if needed and can work with dietary/ movement restrictions. I have never taken care of special needs dogs, but I am certainly willing to try and work with whatever you are looking for! I'm looking forward to filling some of my free time engaging with dogs! I love going on walks, but I also love playing fetch and tug of war. I am also more than happy to watch any other critters you may have- barn animals included :) I’m in college almost full time right now, but over the summer I may pick up a part time job to support myself while school is out. I’m hoping getting a day job won’t limit my dogsitting schedule but we will have to wait and see. I always follow the instructions given to me by my clients. Whenever I am unsure I always ask for clarification. I’m extra careful about opening and closing doors, keeping objects of of reach, and keeping up with day to day schedules.

About: Hello! I'll get right to it, I'm a dog trainer specializing in building members of the family. I am also a CGC Evaluator (Canine Good Citizen), so if your looking for someone to help you throughout that process or if your confident in your doggo and are ready to test, I'm your guy! I'm also a member as well as a Tester and observer for The Alliance of Therapy Dogs. So if you end up getting an ich to volunteer, I will be able to certify and guide your team along the way! Assuming you pass out test that is 😉 Now as a travelling trainer I sometimes take on a few extra gigs like this to make ends meet. My latest dog I trained before coming south recieved his VHM (Virtual Home Manners), CGC (Canine Good Citizen), and TN (Trick Dog Novice) titles at the ripe ole' age of 4 months! My personal dog Buddha is a service dog who has passed the PAT (Public Access Test). He is also a registered Therapy Dog through: The Alliance of Therapy Dogs. We are insured through the: Business Insurers of the Carolinas. He has the following titles: DN (Dock Diving Novice), FDG (Fit Dog Gold and below), TKP (Trick Canine Performer and below), VHM (Virtual Home Manners), CGC (Canine Good Citizen), CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), CGCU (Canine Good Citizen Urban), THDN (Therapy Dog Novice) and THD (Therapy Dog). Buddha is 3 years 9 months old. I also offer a stud service with Buddha if anyone is interested we can talk details through text, call, email, or face to face. What I'm saying is that if you'd like we could talk about my services as a trainer as well and I could show you and your little buddy some fun things to do, or perhaps help on something that has been a struggle. Whether it's a new obstacle or an older persistent one, we can overcome it. I free lance as a Pet Trainer and Respite Care Provider. My service dog Buddha and I work at Yellow River Game Farm. We also work odd jobs for people in town so our schedule is always workable. How ever you instruct. Otherwise we feed, walk, play, and rest at specific times. Pets need and do well with structure. Putting together a good positive routine sets our fluffy buddies up for success.

About: Hi there! I’m Lannie, and I’ve been a trusted Rover sitter for over three years. I specialize in in-home dog sitting and love providing a safe, calm, and caring environment for every pup I watch. I’m also experienced with administering both oral and topical medications, and I always make sure to follow each dog’s unique routine closely. I do work a full-time job from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, but I’m available before and after work, as well as fully available on weekends and holidays. Your dog will still get plenty of love, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. I also have a sweet and social Brittany Spaniel puppy named Winston who joins me during in-home stays. He gets along great with other dogs and loves having new playmates! Whether your dog prefers relaxing walks, long adventures, or fun outings to the dog park, I’m happy to accommodate their energy level and routine. Your pup’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’d love to meet you and your furry friend soon! I currently work full-time in Fridley Minnesota. Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. I do not work holidays, and I am able to take longer. Lunch breaks if needed! Angie's a family friend so she has house-sitted for us several times while we were away on vacation. We have 2 doberman, 7 years and 9 months and Angie did great with both of them. You can really tell she loves animals and loves to take care of them. She's polite, on time, and very responsible. During our last vacation we had just gotten our puppy spayed and Angie made sure she took her medication on time and limited her activity so she wouldn't rip her stitches. Angie was also super understanding of our senior dogs dietary restrictions and made sure she stayed on her feeding routine while we were away.

Alyssa took great care with our dogs. Was mindful of their individual personalities and bonded with them so that they felt comfortable with her. She was punctual and caring. We will definitely be using Alyssa again. 🙃🐾🐾🙏

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. We welcome your fur baby to our Home Away From Home! My family and I will care for and love your fur baby while you are away. Whether it be overnight, drop ins or going for walks, we will care for your pet with love! Your pet will love it here as we have many acres to explore, walk and play fetch with a ball or toy. All of our animals are up to date on shots and other preventions and I would ask that your dog(s) meet this requirement as well so that all animals can stay healthy and happy. Rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of while on “vacation”.
