About: I’m new to Rover, but a lifelong dog lover. My first best friend was a yellow Lab named Candy, who slept at the foot of my bed every night. Today, I share my life with two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers who are truly my fur babies. I’m a mom to two teenage daughters and a small business owner in Chesterton. I’m very active and regularly take my own dogs on long walks and runs at Coffee Creek, so I’m happy to walk, jog, or play with your pup—or stop by for cuddles and treats while you’re at work. I’ve volunteered with animal shelters over the years and am pet CPR certified, so your dog will always be in caring, capable hands! Im a small business owner that is primarily weekend based, this leaves me a flexible weekday schedule that allows me to give your pets reliable exercise and attentive care and on a regular basis if needed. I am happy to check in with your dogs or cats, feed, cuddle and give them anything needed during a visit. I’m responsible and mature.

About: I enjoy taking care of a variety of pets, and have helped care for many over the years. I have experience from everything as small as hamsters up to horses. I currently have dogs, cats, ferrets, and a horse. Many friends and family have relied on me for advice or to care for their pets. I’m available most days any time after 8am for pet sitting or dog walks! I can also do multiple drop in visits throughout the day! Normally at home I feed the dogs dinner, my mother does breakfast! I also take them out for walks around the yard. In your home I would do whatever is asked, and clean up any messes made.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and through those years they interest me more and more. I had/have multiple cats and dogs, and the connection with them has been something I couldn’t imagine not experiencing. Plus, the knowledge I have gained from being around familiar animals makes me feel I would love experiencing new things with other pets, and get to know their unique personalities. With that being said, I am open to almost any training/service necessary for your dog(s) or cat(s) needs and would love to get to know your fuzzy family! I’ve just started school, and my classes are every weekday from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, just so you’re aware if that contradicts any booking requirements you need. I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.

About: I’m currently employed as a kennel manager at a dog daycare and boarding facility in Burns Harbor, Indiana. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I’ve gained experience caring for dogs that require extra attention and medical support. I am comfortable monitoring and administering medications for dogs with seizures, cancer, and diabetes, and understand the importance of careful observation. I work full time, but my schedule allows me to be available in the afternoons and evenings when I’m on day shifts (off around 2–3 PM). During the weeks I work night shifts, I have daytime availability. I am available all day Wednesday and Sundays. I am very flexible regarding your animals care to ensure they stay comfortable and remain in the same routine while you are away. My care ranges from young puppies to older dogs that may need more attention. I provide feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, etc.

About: I've grown up caring for pets, so I understand how much love, patience, and consistency animals need. For the past two years, I've pet sat in clients' homes, staying overnight when needed so pets can stay comfortable in their own space. I have experience with dogs and cats. I'm happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, basic care, and lots of attention and affection. I always make sure owners feel at ease with regular updates and thoughtful care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and plenty of attention. I enjoy being around animals, so caring for them never feels like a chore—I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication instructions, and any special care needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything clean, and provide regular updates so they feel comfortable while away. My priority is making every pet feel safe, loved, and relaxed in a familiar environment.

About: I am a professional handler and groomer. I have 5 years experience working at and managing a doggie daycare/boarding/training/grooming resort. I teach obedience classes and hold a puppy kindergarten class. I have owned multiple dogs and cats my whole life. I also have experience with lizards, bunnies, and other small critters My schedule is pretty open. Check my calendar for availability. I own a pet care busines, so this is what I do 7 days a week. I would consider myself to be a very responsible and trustworthy person. The safety and wellness of your pets are my #1 priority. I always make sure that all doors are closed and locked when coming and going and that all items that could potentially be of danger are away from reach. I own and operate a pet care business full time and offer a wide variety of services out of my home or I can travel to you. We are a very active family and enjoy getting outside. My 2 boys love to involved and are very gentle and playful. I take the dogs outside for frequent potty breaks and go for 2 long walks. One in the morning and one in the evening. I do enjoy taking the dogs to the state park if the weather is nice. I also have access to a doggy daycare after hours and take the dogs there so they can run and play for a few hours.

About: I had a 100 lb mastiff all 8 years of his life on earth and trained him extensively. He walked well on a leash but even when he developed leash aggression later on in life and he pulled I had the strength to contain him. I'm very used to extra large breeds and love them dearly! I also potty trained and crate trained him as a puppy. I am a self-employed wedding photographer that works from home and only works seasonally so I'm very flexible! I have two kittens at home so caring at the client's home is ideal unless the dog is cat-friendly. :) I have a fenced in yard. Whether I am in my home or the client's home, I love walking with dogs and miss it so much since my dog died last June. It brings me joy to give dogs the exercise they need and stay healthy myself in the process!

About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

About: I’ve worked at a dog hotel, and I’ve pet sat for both cats and dogs. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t like me, and I’ve never met a cat that didn’t tolerate me. I’m a student pilot, so some days I have about 2 and a half hours where I won’t be available. Otherwise I have a very flexible schedule and can spend all day or any time caring for your pet. I don’t have any pets of my own, but I’m good at making anyone’s pets friendly with me. I’ve done daily check-ins and up to two weeks staying at someone’s house to keep their dog active and happy.

About: I have had extensive experience within the environment of animal care. I have been involved in places that include animal shelters and even animal hospitals, and strive to put forth my best care that involves your fur babies! Afternoons/evenings work best for my schedule, but I can always work around yours to fit your needs the best! Right now, my schedule is very flexible! Even though I do not offer the option of boarding, I will strive to make your pet's safety my number one priority when I am walking them!

About: I have had a total of 3 dogs and 2 cats in my household at the same time! I have had several other pets such as hamsters, rabbits, turtles, and a few bunches of chickens. I have a great passion for caring for pets and making them feel loved. This is a passion on top of a job, so I will be as available as I can; however, I cannot guarantee my week to week schedule will be the same. I will treat your pet just like my own. Every pet will be treated with love and respect in and out of closed doors. As far as your personal belongings go, I hope that you will trust me to keep all your possessions secured.

About: Hi there! I worked as kennel staff at an animal hospital for over a year before I moved to Nevada, and then I worked at both and animal hospital and a grooming salon during the two years I lived there! (I have since returned to Northwest Indiana!) I took care of both cats and dogs(of all breeds and disabilities) and helped medicate and treat them! I have owned pets all my life, both cats and dogs, and have been their primary caretakers. I am heavily passionate about animals! I currently have two dogs and four cats. I am 23 and have a driver's license. I love animals more than anything, and would do whatever it takes to make your pets feel happy and safe in my company! I am currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to take care of other people's pets! I live in a household with other people, so I'm more than able to housesit, as well! I love to keep animals company, and I will do whatever I'm asked to do to take care of someone's pet. If said pet is undergoing training of any sort, I'm willing to make sure that training is implemented throughout the visit, walk, or stay. I absolutely love giving furbabies my attention and love, but will go at the pets pace. I won't force my affections on an anxious animal.
