“I would definitely book with Jack again. He was accommodating and professional, so easy to work with. I was fostering a 4-month-old shepherd mix that was rescued from a very abusive situation in El Paso, TX. Thora was transported to Milwaukee and only fostered with me for a week when I found out that my remote status was abruptly ending that following week. Since she was just starting to come out of her shell, I didn’t want to leave her in a crate all day while I was at work. So, I turned to Rover! Jack lives nearby and with her abuser having been a male, I liked the idea of doggy daycare with a man so she could experience proper treatment from a male caretaker. He responded to my request right away and when we arrived for the meet-and-greet, Thora instantly took to Jack; there was no hesitation or fear. Jack was responsive and communicative all week, didn’t have any issues. Thora was rescued in rough shape. She was extremely underweight even for a puppy, so I was very specific and detailed about her meals and potty schedule and Jack stayed on top of it. I received updates throughout the day as well as pictures. Many of the pix were of Thora napping or lounging next to Jack; she was so comfortable there. He works remotely and took Thora to a nearby park on his lunch breaks. He taught her to play catch and sent me some footage for her online adoption bio. I watched Thora’s confidence grow under Jack’s care; it was great to see. She’d get so excited when we arrived at his home every morning. I’m so glad Jack was available that week; it worked out great for Thora. Thank you, Jack!”

About: My husband and I have had several pets throughout the years. We’ve owned rabbits, cats, birds and dogs. Currently we have one dog we adopted from the humane society. All of our dogs have been rescues. We enjoy providing a good home to animals. We care for our daughter’s dogs when she is out of town. We look forward to meeting new furry friends. I’m at home daily so I am able to care for your pets as needed throughout the day. My husband is home in the evenings and will be able to provide walks for the dogs. We have a large fenced in back yard for your pet to play and explore. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own.

About: I am aware of the prominently displayed cancellation on my profile. Please don't let that worry you. It was a extremely rare event where I had an emergency roof repair. It's not an incident that would ever repeat. I use a Life360 tile on a separate collar for your dog for an added sense of security. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals, all personalities. I care about your pets safety and needs as much as you. I'm gentle and patient and talkative. For overnight I have an extra room that they can stay in (See pictures). Bath and grooming available on request or if needed. They will be able to go potty however often they need to. I have a fenced in backyard. For daycare I can offer half day rates which would be 4 hours. I can offer reduced rates for small dogs. Rover does not provide for these discounts over the app, so make sure to ask me when requesting booking. I can work around your schedule. Unless I have other bookings I will be here to help. I may be able to do same day bookings if I have availability, so just ask asap. Everything will be tailored to your specifications so I like to go over routine first. About: Hello paw parent! I have two fur babies of my own named Oreo, a Lhasa Apso, 9yrs old, and a Great Dane, Danerys, who is 4yrs old. Working from home allows me to spend a significant amount of time pet sitting for family, friends, or friends of friends. Pets including, but not limited to, cats, dogs, ferrets, etc. I've become a huge pet lover through meeting lots of wonderful fur babies, not to mention raising my own. Working at a doggy daycare has also provided me with the experience and knowledge of caring for animals. With this experience I can provide care, quality time, and love to your fur baby. I have open availability and can provide a routinely eat, play, sleep environment treating your fur baby as my own. Maintaining communication via text, photos, and/or video to also ensure your piece of mind. It is my commitment to provide a safe and fun experience for your pet so they have a wonderful stay. My neighborhood is pet friendly. I will provide a cozy space for the pets to rest, a nice neighborhood walk for exercise, and dedicated playtime, not to mention lots of cuddles. Provided with special instructions, you can be certain I will be attentive and caring of any pet requiring specific needs or prescribed medication. If you need me to stay in your home the same attention and care will be extended. Not only is your fur baby going to be comfortable in their own space, but they will have a trustworthy friend who will love to spend time with them there. They will be taken out, fed, groomed, and exercised following your usual daily routine.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs (through fostering and sitting) all through college and now have a puppy all of my own! I know how hard it can be to let someone else care for your beloved pet and I would be honored to be part of their life! I can provide frequent updates and pictures and will do everything I can to make their stay with us comfortable. Further, my apartment is fully puppy-proof as my little guy tends to get into things. My dog loves other dogs and would love to play if yours is up for it! I work full time but am free most weekends at almost any time of day. My puppy and I go for multiple walks every day and love company. I pay close attention to animals under my care. For example keeping water with us during walks, scanning the walking path for hazards, and making sure the dogs walk on the opposite side of traffic.

I’m always home and could care for your pet, with frequent potty breaks, play with them , and take them for walks. They will love to be in my home with lots of love and attention . About: I have professional experience in the care of domestic animals including but not limited to: pet store associate, lead animal care tech at a humane society, vet tech assistant/daycare & boarding manager, and walking/in home care. I have also completed coursework on training and animal welfare as a marine animal trainer in California and Wisconsin. I understand animal behavior and can act appropriately. I am able to provide oral and topical medications as needed. I am willing to bath and trim nails for an additional charge (depending on the size of the animal/availability of a larger tub outside of my home.) I can also assist pet parents with training concerns for an additional fee. I have references upon request for all services I have listed.
