We set up a initial meet & greet with Karen to see how well our dogs would get along. I was a little nervous because our pup is smaller but Karen’s dog harmony is so well trained and gentle with him my worries were quickly relieved. Karen is amazing with our 4.5 month old pup he loves going to daycare she keeps him on a routine with multiple walks, playtime, naps, food breaks, and potty breaks. He came home a very happy pup. “What a fabulous experience this was I could not be more happy. I had never left my little one before. This wasn’t my first time and I can tell she had an awesome experience. I did not wanna leave her alone because we were out of town. It would have to leave her alone all day long this way we only had to leave her for three hours Usually when I come back she’s shaking and crying and very sad if I were to leave her alone. When I came to pick her up from Julie she was happy and playful and wonderful. The care she received was excellent. Julie ‘s home was clean and inviting and safe for my baby. I will recommend her to everyone. We are going out of town for a week and I was gonna take my baby with me and find Care out there, but I’ve decided I’m going to leave her with Julie because she could not be more capable of caring for puppies than anybody I’ve ever known Thank you, Julie for being so wonderful to my baby. Can’t wait to work with you again. I come once a week to see my son at college and now I have a little drop in for my baby.”

About: Rest assured knowing your furry loved one is being taken care of. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, bearded dragons and more. Experience with special care including medicine administration and more. I’m a natural animal lover who finds joy in making your pet feel right at home - even while you’re away. I work a flexible remote job, which allows me to flexibility to work from wherever and take breaks as needed. I have reliable transportation and live conveniently in the Wilmington area. I have a spacious apartment with an open, outdoor grassy space just steps outside and a safe walkable surrounding area. I do not own any pets.

About: I currently foster dogs and teach basic training for puppies/young dogs. I have a lot of experience with high energy dogs. I have worked at with dogs at boarding kennels and a dog rescue in which I have handled a variety of different dogs breeds with many different personalities and needs. I take dogs to wildlife areas and the beaches to run on and off leash if client is confident with their dog listening. I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I can work Monday’s to Friday’s and most weekends. I will keep my schedule updated through the app. I have a fenced in yard and monitor dogs when outside. I monitor pets with toys and spend time playing with dogs. If requested, I will provided basic training lessons, but price will vary. I am trained in e-collar training. I also, use a method that is a mix positive reinforcement/treats with repercussions. Method of training or handling the dog is discussed with the client and what training shall be focused on. I am trained in animal behavior and can notice if dogs become aggressive with people or other animals if requested for dogs to engage with other dogs. I always encourage clients to have their dogs engage in activities outside the home to get the dog more comfortable around people, other dogs, and people. Also to be handled walking on a leash and practice good behavior. Unless the dog is extremely aggressive and not good around other people or animals, I believe it is crucial for young dogs to practice socializing. Please be honest and inform me of any medical issues, aggression, other behavioral issues, and what toys they are allowed to have.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. As an adult I gave rescued and fostered all sizes and breeds. Dogs have filled my homes with love and joy and I look forward to sharing my large fenced back yard with a playful puppy or a well seasoned frisbee catcher I currently work three days a week, no more than 6 hours per day. I can visit twice daily, depending on location if a walk is needed. If I am pet sitting or boarding the pets will not be alone for more than 5 hours at a time. I have a large fenced yard with a 1/4 mile walking path just beyond the gate, backing up to Haliburton Park. I am also just 10 minutes from Carolina Beach State Park and the dog park if your pup likes to socialize

I work from home so I know I’ll be able to give your fur babies enough attention, and love they need while you were gone. Whatever you need I will be able to do for you to assure you while your away that your fur baby is taken care of. PLEASE READ FOR HOUSE SITTING… I will house sit but I cannot spend the night. I will be there as late as you want and as much as you want just can’t spend the night. I am normally there from 7am and officially leave around 11pm and stay for several hours at a time. I will also send lots of photos and updates. DOG BOARDING: I will be home pretty much all the time and when I do need to leave it won’t be for long. They will get the ultimate care that I can give! You will also get daily photos and as many updates as you want! DOGGY DAY CARE: I have a blow up pool in the backyard for the pups to enjoy and an umbrella for shade. As well as plenty of toys and the best companion a two year old chocolate lab to help keep them entertained! You will also get a photo update during the day! No matter what you need I’ll be there to help! Whether that is lots of walking, playing, or cuddles! I’ll make sure they get the proper amount of attention while you’re gone. I treat all my fur babies like my own children and will do the same to yours! I want to make this experience as enjoyable for them as it for you!

About: I’m a loving pet sitter who works from home, with a flexible schedule. I love taking my personal dogs to the beach, dog parks, etc. also love kitty’s - all furry friends welcome! I’m currently working from home, with lots of flexibility in my schedule, and I am free most weekends - so lots of time for walks! While caring for pets in my home, they will receive lots of snuggles, regular meals, potty breaks, walks, and play time. The same goes for caring in other locations.
