One of our dogs is very distrusting of anyone outside of the family and could be somewhat frightening to less experienced sitters, so it was necessary we brought someone in who wouldn't be intimidated by a mid-sized dog who isnt sure what’s going on. Johnitha even let us meet up with her twice before our trip to familiarize our more difficult pup and establish a bit of trust. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have four! I’ve pet sat and house sat for my good friends including 5 dogs for overnight and during the day care. I’ve had experience with small dogs and large dogs. My friends call me the dog whisperer since I’ve never had a dog upset with me. I have worked as an animal shelter technician, and exotic animal caretaker, and a veterinary assistant. I am available for longer in home care weekends, including evenings, and for drop in care throughout the weekdays and weekends also to include evenings. I have a friendly and high energy husky mix at home, and a friendly lower energy foster dog from my local animal shelter. Both of my at home animals are crate trained
