About: I treat your dog as I would want my own dog to be treated. The Golden Rule doesn't just apply to humans. My dog is a Canine Good Citizen so I am good at training puppies. My parents had senior dogs with seizures and diabetes so I am good at giving shots. I'm retired so I have a lot of time on my hands to stay with your pets. I am very flexible as to when I can come to your house. I will treat your pet with the same love and devotion that I give to my own pets. I will adhere to their normal routine so we won't stress them out anymore than they need to be while you're away.

About: I am passionate about taking proper care of your pets and looking out for their needs such as exercising them and of course, belly rubs! I am totally flexible. I do not have any sort of other job or responsibilities. However, I do ask for at least one week notice. I specialize in doing overnight stays in your home as I do not have any pets of my own. No husband no kids, no grandkids. So I am flexible to spend a lot of time with your pets while you are gone. If you prefer, I can board your dogs in my home. I have a fenced in yard and we exercise every morning on a walk or an outing in a peaceful, safe and quiet country setting. I never have more than 4-5 dogs at a time, so everyone gets lots of individualized attention.

About: I've loved and owned animals my whole life, so I'm well-equipped to care for all your fur babies-cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, and everything in between! I'm a proud cat mom to two sweet girls, Kiki and Lola. They're my family, so I completely understand how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pets with someone who treats them like their own. I have plenty of experience dog-sitting for family, and I'm very comfortable with puppies who might be working on house-training. Whether your pet sleeps at the foot of the bed or prefers their own crate, I carefully follow your specific routine and preferences to keep them comfortable and happy. With 10 years of professional housekeeping experience, l'm also completely unfazed by accidents or mess. As an optional add-on service, I can combine pet sitting with housekeeping or laundry-so you can come home from vacation to happy pets and a spotless house! We can easily discuss customized pricing to fit your needs I’m mostly just pet sitting at the moment so I have open availability. I do run errands for one of my clients once a week but it’s only for about 3 hours Right now I’m not doing any kind of boarding bc I live in an apartment. Will do housesitting at clients homes and don’t mind staying most of the visit in home if client prefers.

“Amazing! That's one word to sum up Kristi's visits with my sweet beagle/ lab mix. She was on time, followed through with my instructions, and very attentive to my fur baby. He liked her immediately upon arrival and trusted her. Kristi is very good at what she does and I'm definitely using her again and again! ❤️ 🐕 🦴”

About: We don't have children of our own so our dogs are our family and we'll treat your dogs like family. My husband and I have taken care of dogs since we were little. We love going for walks and just spending time with them. Your dogs will receive lots of love and attention while your gone. I'm currently working from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. When my husband gets home from working the day shift, we're always in the back yard doing activities with the dogs. We have a huge fenced in back yard and three wonderful fur babies to keep your dog company. We don't let the dogs outside in the yard unsupervised. We can also crate your dog if it's needed.

About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in Toccoa Falls. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Toccoa Falls after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
