About: I’ve dog sat for family members on multiple occasions. The dogs seen in my photographs are family dogs that have stayed in my home. I will adhere to the preference of pet owners on if the pets can interact with other pets. I work full-time as a remote employee for Royal Canin. I’m actively provided breaks, lunches, and planned time that I could take out and feed pets. While my residence is unfenced, the neighborhood is very safe within a small town. The pets will be free to move about inside of the home and I can accommodate if they need to be on a leash even in the backyard.

About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

My home provides a safe, calm, and loving atmosphere where pets are treated like family. I take pride in providing attentive, detail-oriented, and scientifically informed care to ensure your pets are happy and healthy. I am a physician research fellow completing a research fellowship at WashU, where I primarily work from home with a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent attention, walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I only need to be away one afternoon each week for clinic, so your pet will receive plenty of care and companionship. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of individual attention. In my home, pets have access to a dedicated indoor playroom that opens directly onto a spacious backyard, providing a safe and comfortable space to relax and play. There is also a large fenced play area approximately 300 yards from my backyard where dogs can enjoy additional exercise and outdoor time. I maintain a clean, safe environment and provide regular updates with photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
