About: Hey! I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and have been caring for them for just as long (of course under the supervision and guidance of my parents when I was younger!). I have lots of experience in caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from tiny puppies and kittens to lovely senior dogs and cats. I also have experience in caring for exotics and livestock as well, and honestly caring for and loving all animals is really my passion. I always make sure to feed on time, ensure there is always access to clean drinking water, and make sure litter boxes are cleaned daily, and of course bring pups outside for potty every couple of hours, or as needed. I also have experience in potty training puppies and litter training cats! I'd love to be a part of your journey in loving and caring for your fur baby! I'm currently a full-time college student (preferred name Wren, pronouns She/He/They), but I have lots of time between classes to stop by and care for your pet or to bring a pup out for a walk! I'm generally free all weekends, and usually have more time availability in the afternoons Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and it varies Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on the week. It is my personal goal and rule to ensure that there is always clean drinking water available for my, and your, pets. I always make sure that I am feeding the animals in my care on time depending on their usual schedule, and if food is always left out for them I make sure that there is always food available in their bowls. Its very important to me that pets feel loved and cared for, so I always try to dedicate time to your pet for play or just attention, and I always make sure to bring your pet outside for potty breaks every few hours (or as needed for the pet), and that litter boxes are kept clean. The comfort and safety of your pet is important to me, and I will do everything I can to keep them comfortable, safe, and happy while in my care!

“Arely was absolutely wonderful for our 2 pups. They loved her. One of our babies has diabetes and is blind. Arely took such good care of her. She knew just what to do when giving her shots. She sent us great photos everyday. She also went above and beyond in making sure our home was as clean and tidy as it was when we left. We will certainly be using Arely to take care of our babies from now on!!!”

“Kim is AMAZING 😻 she is wonderful each and every time we have her stay with our pups! House is always left in perfect condition. And we never worry while we’re gone!”

About: I love animals and always had a dog or cat or both. They were healthy, well cared for, got lots of attention and were considered part of the family. Fast forward, I found myself without a dog or cat. So, I got certified as a foster for the SPCA, volunteer at the local shelter, am a contact for the DFW wildlife hotline, and certified in two other wildlife areas. I have fostered, helped re-home, and cared for a few pets. My children said I'd be perfect for helping folks who need someone to care for their cherished pet. So here I am at Rover. Your dog or cat will get lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, and play. I'm a retired professional that loves animals. I will NOT be working remotely on a computer or phone for hours while ignoring your pet. Your pet IS my job. I will physically be where your pet is whether inside the house or outside playing. Though experienced, I'm new on Rover, and my schedule is open. However, first come first serve. Please call with your specific needs. Your pet's safety is paramount. Inside my home: I ensure there are no exposed electrical wires, poisonous plants, chemicals on the floor, or toys that are dangerous to swallow. You can trust I have your phone and your vet's phone numbers readily accessible should any emergency or question arise. How I care for pets: Whether at my house or my client's house my care is similar. Initial greetings, carrying, petting, and talking to your pet. I will observe your pet (my habit) to ensure they look physically well, are responding and moving healthily. After my observations, in case of a cat, I clean litter pan and surrounding areas. Then outside to play if a dog (inside play if a cat). Play for both will always include running, jumping and stretching. After play is meal time and always plenty of clean fresh water. Finally, relax and cuddle time for your pet. If at my house, after mealtime, the environment will be relaxing with pet pillow beds on floor where they can rest, digest, and cuddle. That said: I follow the client's schedule to ensure not to upset their pet's habits, digestive issues, or cause anything that may promote anxiety in their pet. Inside my home is relaxing with plenty of natural light, comfy pillows beds on the floor or couch for your pet's relaxation and cuddle time. Outside: I have a very large, fenced yard for lots of play and running. There is plenty of fresh clean water both inside and outside. I even have soft relaxing music to calm any anxiety when you drop them off. At client's home: I will greet and talk to your pet, hold and pet them often.I observe physical and behavioral wellbeing. In case of a cat, I would clean litter pan and its surrounding area first. Afterwards, plenty of play time. Cats will play inside the home. Dogs outside. Whether cat or dog, play will include running, jumping and stretching. After play they will be fed and get plenty of fresh clean water. Finally, time to relax and cuddle time.

“Lorna is nothing short of amazing! We do not say that statement lightly, as we have been through a number of dog sitters, that couldn’t hold a candle to Lorna. As a dog behaviorist & trainer, she did miracles with our 3 maltipoos. She noticed 2 were anxious barkers & taught them confidence building exercises. In a short 24 hr period, we had a 40% improvement in overall behavior & our dogs could now eat together, without confrontations. Lorna was communicative multiple times throughout the day & sent lots of pictures & videos. She was responsible & meticulous in making sure they ate well; even cutting up food toppers for them & putting out a mix of bowls & puzzles for variety. We look forward to using her for longer stays very soon. We may come back & our pups might want to stay with her instead. Lol Without reservation, we highly recommend Lorna to care for & love on other fur babies.”

“Kensington took great care of our sweet Penny girl. We just recused her so we were nervous about leaving her for the first time, but we felt comfortable leaving her with Kensington and knew she was given lots of love. We will definitely use Kensington again!”

“Savannah was attentive, patient, and took care of our babies and home with the same care we do. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pets. She checked in daily and sent pictures to put us as ease. We 100% recommend her!”
