I naturally have a calm, peaceful presence, so I would be a great match for your anxious, senior, shy, low energy or more laid-back dogs or cats. What sets me apart is that I work remotely, which allows me to be present with pets throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. This gives me the availability to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also have regularly helped care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need more or less from me. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’d be happy to give your pet the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. If I’m housesitting, I’m practically readily available. I work a full-time remote job that would allow me to be present and handle the tasks needed to care for your pets. I would have time to see them in intervals multiple times a day with no problem and with plenty of time for play. But if I do drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s a day. 1st at 7:00-8:00a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the understanding that it is first and foremost your pet’s home and safe environment. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules. I aim to maintain the same peaceful atmosphere your pet is used to. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for, while also treating your home with the same respect I would my own.
About: Ive taken care of many different types of animals for several years but perfer dogs and cats! Your pets will be spoiled and loved on, I can promise you that! I’m currently working full time 8-5 Monday-Friday. But can come let’s your pers out to pee during the day or stay the night at your house if needed! I have a fenced in yard, but my roommate has a cat so I perfer to go to other peoples houses as she doesn’t get along with dogs.

About: I grew up with blue herlers and now have a Chihuahua named Bentley, Golden Doodle named Nash, and a Kitten named Prada! I frequently pet sit and I even got to work at a camp bow wow this summer and LOVED it! I love getting to meet and interact with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I currently attend Drury University and work at a daycare on some afternoons. My availability schedule mainly consists of open mornings and weeks! I am very flexible with my hours so I’m sure I can make most times in the mornings or weekends work! About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a kid, im really considerate of everyone’s time and need of there own time I can help and do anything you may ask even give the pet medicine if that is what is needed I have 4 cats and they are very well trained and loveable. I also help out around the neighborhood in pet sitting so I pretty much know what you will expect of me and I’ll make sure it happens. I give them baths, brush them, feed them, walk them, I’m very calm and time proficient and know what to do in case of emergency

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. They are not like family, they are family. Many friends and relatives have entrusted me to care for their pets for short and long stays at my home where they receive love, attention, play, and care. When caring for your pets, they will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time during the weekday. Evenings and weeknights they will not be alone for more than an hour at a time. I have a large fenced yard and close access to a public park for walks. I enjoy playing with animals and giving them attention and care.
About: I have had dogs and a couple cats, I would say that I am fairly knowledgeable about typical animal behavior. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Owned horses and have been around an assortment of other animals throughout my life. Currently work full-time but I am about to not be working full time and would like to do dog walking/hiking and such full-time. I will be available throughout the week at anytime of day. Hoping to allow dog sitting at some point in the future for clients as well. I have a fenced back yard and give them ample exercise. I have learned that biking is one of the best things for a dog, especially high energy dogs but also any dog really. They get lots of petting and one on one playing throughout the day as well.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
