“Wonderful place for our pup. Ladeana was able to take our Eeve short notice for a day while we were on vacation here and she was amazing with Eeve. Can’t wait to rebook her when we are in town again!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover! Growing up, we had just about every kind of creature you can think of. Outside of my own miniature zoo, I’ve fostered both dog and cats over the last 10 years for various rescues. I’m currently a full time online college student at UWF so I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be home most of the day outside of my kids school pick up and drop off’s. My pets are a huge part of my family and being a military family, I understand the need to trust who’s taking care of them. I will happily send as many updates and pictures as you want! Our home is on 2.5 acres with a sizable section fenced in plus a trail through the rest of the property for leash walking. Dogs are never outside without supervision for both mine and your peace of mind. All of our dogs are very people and dog friendly. They are all also crate trained so if there’s a need for me to leave the house they can be put up. We have a spare room and a climate controlled garage if your furry friend needs a break or some space but there’s plenty of space in the living room for everyone to hang out.
“Tess took awesome care of Taki! Tess provided lots of updates and pictures of taki during their walks and while resting. I run into Tess on walks sometimes and Taki always sprints to her with his tail wagging. Will definitely look to book with her again in the future.”

“Benae was amazing! She loved and spoiled my baby during her Daycare stay! Also, she was so patient with this ridiculous fur mom that was leaving her fur baby for the very first time with a “stranger”🤍🙌🏼 She communicated well and with transparency, and kept you posted during the day with pics & videos. You could tell that she and her family are real animals lovers and enjoy what they’re doing. I definitely recommend her for taking care of your babies🐾❤️”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. Responsibilities were bathing, feeding, walking; as well as general care of the pets. Often, animals would follow me home from school. I am currently working from home so, I’ll have plenty of time to care and entertain your fur babies. I enjoy long walks and practicing new tricks with my pets. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly cats. I am vigilant when caring for a pet in their own home. When in another person’s home, I keep the area clean; as well as provide a safe environment.
About: Growing up I was blessed to have taken care of our very own family dog. Meanwhile, I have also been caring for my neighbors and friends animals. I have been entrusted to take dogs out for walks, feed them, and bathe them. Furthermore, I have taken care of cats, birds, bunnies, etc. I strive to take care of your animal as I would want my animal to be treated…with love and trust. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your doggos! Any time that I am available I am usually available for the entire day! My home is available to board! I have an unfenced back yard that the doggos can play around in. In my clients home I am able to care for the dog however necessary the owner deems fit. I am able to crate a dog, if needed. I am also able to feed and take them for walks as scheduled.

About: Animals are to be loved and taken the best care of! I’ve had dogs nearly every year of my life and have experience training and caring for animals of many kinds at an animal education center. No one will treat your pets better while you are away! I am looking to care for pets here on rover full time, so your baby will have my full attention. Animal care is something I’m very familiar with, and there will be no problems with timing! My house has a big fenced yard for your dogs to run around and feel free! I have friendly dogs to keep your pets company if you are comfortable. Whatever pet rules you have I am happy to enforce for them. Any medications they may need I am willing to administer/feed while they are under my care.

“Kelly was gracious enough to help up out last minute with drop off day care for our little guy so we could go to a ballgame in her town! She also let us drop him off early when the game time got changed literally last minute! Thanks for taking care of Sarge for us!”

“Sami was available last minute for me and it was great! Communication was wonderful. I received several updates on my dog as well as many adorable photos. I felt very safe with my dog in her care! Thank you!!!”

“Mary Elizabeth communicated about the pups while we were away. The pups enjoyed their time based on how worn out they were when we got them back. We cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of our babies.”
“Mickey and Elizabeth were super friendly and sent lots of pics and videos during Dash's stay with them. Dash looked like she was having an awesome time. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Mariah & Tim were wonderful. Very open in the meet and greet. Rosie seemed comfortable and came home happy and tired. Mariah’s communication was terrific, providing text updates and photos”

About: We are those people our friends and family call to care for their fur babies. Animals have been a part of our lives growing up. We do have a 6 and a 2 year old who too shares our love for animals. We work from home, our schedule allows us to take the pups out as many times as they need. As well as cuddle breaks and belly rubs. We are an animal loving family, we have two dogs of our own. Our dogs get along with other dogs. We like to consider our dogs very laid back and chill. But if you prefer for the dogs to remain separate that is not a problem at all. We do have a large yard, it is not fenced but we will always be sure to leash up before we go out.
“She was a life saver. We contacted Elizabeth to book her for a last minute event that came up for my family. She received our puppy and send us updates constantly. She is the best.”

About: Hi there! I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life—my parents always had pets, and I have as well. Because of that, caring for animals feels natural to me. I prefer to only have one family's pets at my home at a time. So your babies will have lots of one on one attention. I have hands-on experience with puppies full of energy, senior pets who need a little extra patience and care, and everything in between. I’m also comfortable with fish and reptiles, so your scaly or finned family members are in good hands, too! Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or administering special care for older pets, I make sure each animal feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. I am new to the area and currently have a very open work schedule. You pets will receive all the attention they want and will feel right at home while you are away I have a fenced yard and pool if they are water loving. They can treat my home as if it is their home. If I'm visiting your home I will make sure they receive my undivided attention.
“5 Stars! Jessica was amazing with our dog Max! We really appreciated her service and the photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Max came home happy. We’ll definitely be booking with Jessica again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Tiger Point
Our girl's stay with Ladeana was great. When we met Ladeana, she let Lucca get to know her before Lucca even came out of the car. Lucca took to her immediately with wagging tale and kisses on Ladeana's face. Ladeana communicated with me during the day to let me know our fur girl was doing well. Ladeana even offered to flex her schedule to meet ours. Great job, Ladeana!! I'll certainly be contacting you next time we are in the Pensacola area.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Tiger Point commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 390 sitters in Tiger Point, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
