About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for 8 years. Providing the highest level of care to animals is my biggest passion. I grew up with pets - dogs (all shapes and sizes), cats, horses, and even pet rats - and love spending time with animals! I did dog-sitting through Rover when I was in grad school in Alaska. I've had a gap in my dogsitting work (last once was in 2020) while I was working in a demanding full-time job, but I'm excited to return to dogsitting this summer! I work from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dogs on the beach every day for 30-60 minutes, sometimes twice a day. If you are planning on going on a sport-fishing charter and need a place for your dog to be for the day, think of me! I am available for early morning drop-offs for doggy day-care if scheduled before 9pm the night before. **If I am doing a homestay or your dog is staying at my place for the day, my two Alaskan huskies Murphy and Precious will be with me.** They are very good with other dogs, and they are very calm, chill, and house-trained. I am happy to maintain your dogs' routine and schedule to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I try to send daily photos of your pet and give a little update on how the day went. I don't take dogs for off-leash walks while in my care. I am very safety conscious and aware that sometimes animals act differently when their family isn't around, and so I am careful and vigilant while I am responsible for your animal. I am happy to continue any training programs you may have with your animals.
