I now run my own doggy care center, own 3 dogs myself, and work closely with fosters and rescues in the area. My schedule is very accommodating as I am willing to go out of my way to ensure your pets are cared for. I have a flexible job, and a home that is equipped to care for animals! It’s always been a fun experience. I am a stay at home mom, so I have a wide-open schedule that can accommodate others pet schedules, all you have to do is send in the request. But when working from home, I am very attentive and always checking in and playing with pets. I often step away from my work to tend to your pets needs whether that's taking them out for a walk, out to pee/poop, feed them, play and take any medication of theirs (if any). I will take care of your pets as I take care of mine. I will ensure they are always in my sight and not be distracted on my phone. One thing about me is that I like to be present and not scroll away on my phone as much while on the job. I am always alert to hear if any pets are not chewing on things they're not supposed to in case of a choking hazard. In the past with foster pets, I've had to clear airways for them when they were choking, so I'm not afraid to stick my hand in their mouths to remove the object/food. I will ensure gates and doors are locked to prevent runaways.

About: A Little About Me 🐾 Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! From dogs and cats to goats, pigs, donkeys, lizards, hamsters, fish, and even emus (yes, really!), I’ve always loved caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Animal Science, and I work full-time as an agriculture and animal science educator, teaching students about animal health, small and large animal management, veterinary medicine, and responsible animal care. My profession allows me to combine my education with hands-on animal science every day, giving me a strong foundation in animal behavior, welfare, health, and safety. Beyond teaching, my experience includes working at multiple dog and cat shelters, leading activities at a farm animal camp for children, caring for larger dog breeds, and providing basic dog training on the side.
