“Katie and her family took such good care of my dog while I was out of town. She took her on walks, played with her, gave her treats, cuddled her, and sent lots of pictures and updates!! I could not have asked for someone better to take care of Rory girl 🤍”

“10 out of 10!!!! Would HIGHLY recommend Savannah!! It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone and she was a perfect fit! She sent texts/pictures of our dog with updates, that just made me feel relieved and less stressed. We will be using her services again for sure!!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sac was wonderful with my dog, April! She took great care of him and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. April came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. It was clear that Sac treated him like her own dog. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you, Sac, for taking such great care of April!”

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

About: I own a small farm. I have a lot of experience with animals of all types, big and small. I have had the privilege of being a fur mom to dogs and cats, as well as other small and large animals since I was a kid. I love on and treat all animals with kindness and plenty of love and respect. I can give medications, if needed and have plenty of time on my hands now that school is back in for my kids. I was a substitute teacher this past year. I will follow your directions for your pet 100%. You and your pet will be very satisfied with my services. I have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I am a stay at home mom and will spoil your fur babies as I do my own! I have references I can provide from vets, personal references and can pass any background or drug check. I have my own reliable vehicle and there is no dog, cat etc that I am unwilling to care for. I am very aware of my surroundings and will never put your pet in danger. I follow instructions 100%. I care for them all like they are mine.
“She sent all the pics so I could see my babies while away! My dog also pulled a never seen before stunt and she called me immediately and communicated what was going on. I felt very comfortable with her in charge of my dogs!”

“They took great care of my Aussiedoodle. He looked so happy in every photo. She sent plenty of photos and him and each photo had a little blurb of how he was doing. It was very cute! I would totally trust them again with him. It makes it more enjoyable for him that they have their own dogs as well. I know he enjoyed playing with them.”

About: I have had the privilege of always having dogs. For me, there’s no greater joy! I was actually nicknamed at a young age “the dog whisperer” and I promise you it fits! I regard a dog’s care and routine with the utmost respect. I see the value in both physical and mental stimulation for your dog. Whether it’s playing games, learning commands, an agility course, or scent work, there are so many ways to introduce enrichment. Two of my own dogs have disabilities, one who is deaf and has seizures and one who had a leg amputated due cancer (but he’s in remission and is loving life as a tripod!). So I am very familiar and comfortable with administering medication, following a specific care routine, and most importantly, giving all the belly rubs and kisses needed! I want your dog to feel secure with me and want me around, so I’m happy to do a meet and greet to get our journey together started! I work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends. I am usually available even with little notice. I am happy to provide whatever help you need that is best for your dog. Walks, playing, snuggles, and anything else needed! I take safety very seriously! I do not allow on leash greetings (unless you let me know who your pup’s neighborhood friends are and then I’m happy to let them say hi). I carry pet corrector in case an off leash dog approaches. I am very observant to dog behaviors and body language and I will quickly become in tune with your dog. I know how stressful it can be trusting someone with your dog so I’m happy to provide as many updates and photos as you like. I have a 2 acre fenced in yard (8’ high fence) that is secure and safe. The perfect space for playing, sniffs, or just being lazy! I have 3 friendly Great Danes that love animals! They are used to having their furry friends come over and play.
“Nancy was fantastic with our two pups! Our babies stayed for 3 nights and were so well loved and cared for. Nancy sent us pics of them snuggling and running around in her yard. She has an entire doggy room in her home! She’s stocked on kennels/bowls and has a little doggy door for the dogs to go out. It’s very clear she loves dogs and has put so much time and love into that room and her pet sitting business. She even sent our dogs home with little goody bags! We will definitely send our dogs back 🤍”
“Bri was awesome with my dogs. She came and got them for me...so nice!! My 2 corgis loved that she even took them to the dog park over the weekend. I will definitely be using her services again.”

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
