I am very knowledgeable in special needs animals; blind, diabetic and fearful traits. I can administer medications and give injections if necessary. I’ve been pet sitting for clients from the vet clinic for the past 20 years. Hi, will always go out of my way to make sure that an animal is comfortable and feels loved. When I had my three dogs, I loved them as much as my children. I always say dogs are my people. I currently just moved to Utah and would like to start a new client base here. I am available most days unless I have a scheduled event. If I am staying at someone’s home, I make sure that I am with the animal (s) for most of the day. If I have to leave, it will be for short amounts of time, but I prefer to be in the home, especially if the animals are used to having their parent home with them. I love to spend time outside with the dogs. Exercise is extremely important. I will always treat your pet as if it were my own.

About: I did housesitting for several years with my brother's St. Bernard dog as you see on my profile picture. Last year, I housesat for three cats. Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I'm currently working as a teacher at school which ends on May 23rd then I can do it anytime since my other job as crisis counselor allows me to work at home. I need a good WIFI. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.

About: I have a soft spot for dogs, especially those who have had a hard time finding forever families. Both of my dogs were temporary fosters in my home, but in the end became part of my family instead. I love training, playing with, and hanging out with fur-babies. I do my best to love your dog like my own, and reinforce any ongoing training you're doing. I can administer oral and topical medications, and belly rubs, and I would be happy to give them any additional care you request including baths. I will pay special attention to any dietary restrictions or medical concerns. I am at home full time. I do have kennels primarily for meal times, and for sleeping. We are all together the rest of the day. Dogs are introduced one at a time, at the pace of the most nervous dog. I have kennels that are useful to briefly hold a dog while they are waiting their turn to meet a new arrival, or to give each dog space during meal times. The cats have their own space that they can freely access (litterbox and cat food are kept out of the reach of our guests). The cats observe from a distance or a height until they are ready to introduce themselves. Most dogs are here for several hours before they see our cats.

About: I'm very protective of my dogs I understand how hard it is to trust a stranger to care and love them for you, but I guarentee I can offer a quality service to you and your pup. I am very intuitive when it comes to social interactions between dogs, I know canine CPR and I have 10 years experience training and taking care of my own pets and 18 years experience walking, loving and keeping dogs safe. I took a break from River for a few years but I’m back at it and happy to provide quality care to any and all puppers! I currently work a flexible job and make sure to give my dogs daily love and attention, and walks!! Happy to answer any questions and make accommodations for any specific needs during a booking! I’m very cautious when it comes to dog walks and getting to know a new dog in general and I typically make sure that all preferences for social interactions between dogs on walks and sitting in general is established and accommodated.
