As a senior doggie with mobility/joint issues it’s super important to us that she gets extra attention around that. Wendy listened to all of our concerns and was very attentive to Emma’s needs. About: I’ve always loved animals and truly enjoy caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. As a veteran, PE teacher, and cross country coach, I’m dependable, patient, active, and comfortable handling energetic dogs who need long walks and exercise. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace and extra attention. Living in Las Vegas, I understand how important it is to keep pets safe during the summer heat, so I’m more than willing to do early morning walks to make sure your dogs stay comfortable and safe. I’ll always treat your pets like my own and keep you updated so you can feel confident while you’re away. I have full availability a majority of the summer! I do not mind walking your pup in the early mornings to avoid the Vegas heat 😊 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. During walks and drop-in visits, I always make sure pets are secure before entering or leaving the home, use leashes/harnesses carefully, and pay close attention to their behavior and needs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and will follow any feeding, medication, walking, or care instructions exactly as requested. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are safe and cared for while you’re away.

We were visiting Las Vegas on an extremely hot day and needed a safe, cool, and welcoming place for our 115 lb Cane Corso, Liberty, to stay for the day. Wendy was incredibly kind and provided a comfortable environment that immediately put us at ease. While in Wendy’s care, Liberty—who occasionally experiences seizures—had an episode. Wendy handled the situation calmly, professionally, and with genuine care and compassion. It meant so much to know our dog was in such capable hands during a stressful moment. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely contact Wendy again. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience with our pet sitter! She was very reliable, caring, and kept us updated the entire time we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our Teddy was in such loving hands. Our dog Teddy looked very happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned. I recently lost my other furbaby, and I noticed that my senior dog was also deeply affected by the loss, too. I didn’t think his dementia would make him as vulnerable, but it did so I was looking for someone with dogs who could provide daycare for my dog, and I found Matt on Rover. He has two dogs of his own, Tito and Sky, who are great with my dog. They are the welcome committee and are energetic just as they are easygoing with him. Matt was also very understanding when my dog pooped in his living room. He didn’t make me feel bad about it, knowing that my dog was a senior and not quite as sharp as he used to be. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog in Matt’s care while I’m at work. He keeps me updated on how my dog is doing throughout the day, so I don’t have to worry about him. I highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for a dog lover who is comfortable taking care of your furry friend.
Anna and her precious Mother were such lovely women with a loving concern for my lil’ Hershey’s comfort and care. Hershey was happy to be in their arms and I felt comfortable leaving her under their care. I highly recommend Anna and will request her whenever I return this way. Roberta took wonderful care of Lucky while we were in town visiting. She was very flexible with timing, watched him on Christmas Eve, and even gave him the sweetest Christmas gift. She also sent adorable videos and pictures, which we really appreciated. We felt so comfortable knowing Lucky was in such great hands.
