Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions and joys in life, and the perfect way to supplement my income while I focus on my writing this summer. My 2-year old mixed pup, Wally, is 20 lbs and neutered. He loves people and pets and can come with me if everyone gets along, but can also stay with my mom no problem. I am responsible, communicative, and have extensive experience in pet care — from daily check-ins on a 90lb Pit-bill to administrating oral medications, managing dogs with separation anxiety to farm-sits and volunteering at animal shelters. Our pets are an important part of our family units, and providing the proper attention, affection, patience, and nurturing spirit has always come naturally to me. As well as following all instructions very carefully. It is also my priority to ensure you are confident in leaving them with me. I will always do in-person meet and greets beforehand so they will recognize me when I return. I will also send tons of pictures and videos and can even do FaceTimes so you can see how we're doing. I know it's hard being away from your pets so anything I can do to set your mind at ease is my pleasure :) I've been told I have a positive and loving energy that animals are drawn to. Each animal is unique with their own special little personality, and understanding and respecting that helps me build rapport. I realize what a sensitive (sometimes confusing) time being apart from their family can be, so it's really my top priority to be a great source of comfort and stability for them and to provide as much warmth and positive energy as I can. About: I've always had a love for animals, especially dogs, and I've always grown up around them. My family has me take care of their dogs when they're out of town, including my cousin who has five dogs. I'm currently home for the summer, looking for some extra income. I love dogs, so I figured this is the perfect environment for me. I can walk or sit with your dog based on my current work schedule. As of current, I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; however, I can always make time after work and anytime on my days off. My dog at home loves to be surrounded by her family and to be included in everything we do, from hanging out while we do dishes to sleeping in my bed. I am available to take your dog for long walks, while at the same just provided them with some company.

About: I grew up with a yellow lab named Mo. I was an only child and he was quite truly my best friend. He passed away when I was sixteen. This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! Caring for a dog has been such an important part of my life, and has offered me so much fulfillment and joy. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, and understand how important they are to your life and how important their happiness is! I currently have a flexible remote job. Although I do need to commit at least six hours Monday through Friday to my job, I have much space in between to care for, walk, play with, and adventure with your furry friend!! The house I live in currently does not have a fenced in area, however I would be open to talking through ways to make it work! About: Hi!! I grew up with dogs, a pit lab and a yorkie, and I used to clean dog kennels and feed them at the pope humane animal shelter! And I recently a few months ago did a two week house sitting/ dog sitting job! I am a huge fan of dogs :) I’m a recent college student who has always just wanted to take care of people’s pets while at college, unfortunately it’s much more difficult up there, but now I’m home and I get the chance to see others pets more easily! It fits in super well currently, I’m available usually 24/7 just need to know at least a few days in advance! I make sure that I keep my eye on animals, especially puppies/kittens. I know they can be all over the place, I like to stick near them and make sure I have available numbers in case something were to go wrong.
