About: Most of my experience has been from pets of family and friends. I have the upmost respect for animals and love to interact with them as they allow. I have some experiences with special care like food preparation and giving medications, just give some instructions and count on it being done. In my younger years I’ve had experience with caring for birds, although it’s been some time since then, I am fully capable. Hugs and pets are part of my services but only if your animal allows. Currently, I have a flexible schedule and my calendar is typically up to date. I do have an elderly cat which needs special care everyday but i can typically move things around easily. I have 1 cat who need medication 2x a day and has a special diet. I am very flexible with pet care and can do most things that your pet needs.

About: Dogs and cats and lizards, oh my! I’ve done it all. For the first 18 years of my life I’ve had experience walking dogs, house sitting, and raising my own pets. Then I began working at a summer camp where I was partially responsible for taking care of our reptile family - crested geckos, bearded dragons, and ball pythons and were just some of the cuties I got to take care of. Since then I have taken care and owned cats, dogs, and lizards of my own and on the side have house sat and loved many family and friends pets while they’re gone. I even have experience with some medical administration such as insulin shots to a feisty cat and pills to the dog I currently own. I can’t wait to get acquainted with your family member :) My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most any time a pet needs taken care of, including during the work day and weekends. I have three dogs, one cat and a crested gecko currently who are all very loved and spoiled by myself, my husband and our almost two year old. We’ve taught all the dogs recall, leash training and how to be gentle around young children. Our cat is an old man with feline herpes, one of our dogs needs daily oral medication and the juvenile gecko gets extra attention as he continues growing.

About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember! I've helped some at a vet clinic and cared for dogs there. I have had my own dog who was a senior. I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a child. I have always taken the best of care of my pets. I worked for the Humane Society at one time, but my heart almost broke with love for all of those animals. I always wave and speak to animals, a little corny, but true. You will not find someone who cares more about the well being of your pet. I have also welcomed pet visitors into my classroom frequently. I am currently off for the summer because I am a teacher, so I have lots of time to love and devote to your pet! I have a fenced back yard that allows for running and playing. About: I’ve been taking care of pups and cats since I was around 14 years old! Since then, I’ve had multiple repeated clients and have gained so much experience over the years. I’ve worked with small dogs, larger dogs, and multiple breeds of cats! I know that I can provide the right care and plenty of love for your pet when you’re away. I don’t work more than 9 hours a day and I have multiple breaks in between to stop by and care for my clients’ pets. For dog boarding, I have a house which has a big area for running and/or potty breaks. I also don’t mind if the dog/cat sleeps in the bed with me! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I currently work part-time in Richland and I work no more than 9 hours a day. I’m allotted multiple breaks during those shifts. I’m also able to request days off fairly easily to adhere to pet sitting needs. Currently, I only care for my cat, Bugs. I take care of his hygiene and play with him constantly. About: I love animals! I will play with them, feed and water them, and take them for walks. I love to train animals like to sit and shake. I can give baths to them and wash them and I can also get rid of fleas for them. I'm available Tuesday-Thursday anytime unless I have an appointment. I only have a dog and a cat and they're both spayed and neutered, my dog is very playful and has been great around other dogs and my cat likes to sleep a lot so she won't be any bother to your animals. About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. I do have a part time job, but with enough notice I am happy to arrange my shifts to suit your animal’s needs. I typically work evenings. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. I sorted the pictures of the dogs I have known the longest to the shortest, with a photo of me at The Hemingway House in Key West FLA petting a cat. First is my childhood dog named Fezz who passed away in 2020. Second is my brothers beagle, Jack. Next is an old friend’s tan Pitbull named Louise. Then there is my dad’s white puppy named Piggie. The next photos are my friend Andy’s dogs. Two Bully Breeds. The white one is Biggie and the grey one is Gianna. I have watched them a few times and I walk them together. Biggie is a rescue and is considered a high risk dog. He has bit 10+ people, but he loves me so much and is very comfortable around me. I wouldn’t say I’m a dog whisperer, but I certainly have a way with dogs. I have watched my brother’s beagle as well a few times. When I lived in CO (about a decade ago) I watched a German Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute. They were a handful and hard to walk together as they were both pretty big and strong, but I was still able to do it. I work remote doing life and health insurance, so I’m just looking for a side job to supplement my income until I build my book of business up. I could watch them at my house as I have a huge fenced in yard, but I would rather meet the animal at home where it’s most comfortable for them. When I watch Andy’s dogs, I watch them at his house.

About: Former federal employee and defense contractor (over 25 years)/deferred retirement. I've been boarding, house sitting, dropping in, walking, and running with dogs since COVID. I also provide cat care. Open to other duties as assigned (mail collection, plant and/or pool/spa care, garbage/recycling, snow clearing, etc.). Prices are adjustable, and willing to trade services for a handy person. Golf league couple evenings/week, and ski locally on weekends. Membership Director of the Battle Creek Ski Club - occasional meetings. House sitting radius is unlimited -willing to travel; drop ins or walks within 10 miles please. Safe neighborhood in Battle Creek. I have a .5 acre lot, but only the yard around my pool is fenced in (less than half the lot). Good safety latches on the gates; pool safety cover off-season that dogs are not allowed on. Recently purchased a kiddie pool for the dogs. Dogs must stay on leash during a meet-n-greet at my house, as Rover does not cover those. I do not own any pets or have children, and live alone. I may only be able to adequately supervise 1 dog at a time around the open pool. Bi-level home with carpeted stairs. It has been marked, so if that’s a potential issue, please look elsewhere. 4-wheel drive Jeep, so snow is not likely an issue to get to your fur babies.

About: I've worked as a vet assistant, at a pet store, volunteered at a animal shelter and have been dog training, grooming, walking and pet/dog sitting for years. This is what I do for work so I am able to be with your sweeties as much as possible! Feel free to reach out to me! I always monitor and take as best care of them possible. Excercise when they need, rest when they need, potty, food etc. if your pets have a schedule I'll stick to it. If not well then tell me what you'd like and call it done!

About: I grew up around pets. I am very active & can be energetic with your pet. I can play & run (if needed). I love to be around and to spend time with animals. I am very aware of how to take care of an animal. I can spend a good bit of time taking care of them as long as it fits into my schedule! I work full time, but I have flexibility with having to be in the office so I am able to work with most pet schedules. I also don’t work on the weekends and am usually in town. About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. About: I've never lived in a place without dogs or cats and I grown up with all kinds of animals, from hamsters to horses. In this new phase of my life, I'm excited for a new adventure everyday, whether it's going for a walk at a new park or staying overnight in a new place. About: I was raised around various dogs, and I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for my neighbors and my roommate. I had 3 dogs at one point with food sensitivities and I’m aware of how to mentally and physically stimulate a puppy or dog with playing and treats during training. I call it: “dinner and a show.” During play time I also reinforce commands they already know to also engage them mentally so they are more exerted and relaxed afterwords. I’ve raised puppies from 8weeks and assisted elderly dogs with vision issues, and health issues up to the age of 17 years old. Including hand feeding and other wise. Administrating medication as prescribed is no issue. I do not have formal experience in a veterinary environment, so anything more complex than pills is not in within my ability. I currently moved from Texas to Michigan , and I have an open schedule. I currently care for my landlord/roommate who has two forms of cancer. My schedule is open all week including Sunday upon special request. I absolutely love the outdoors, exercise and playing with dogs, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I take care of my puppy Ivy, she goes with me everywhere. She is my little Velcro girl. She sleeps in my bed, she eats what I eat (obviously nothing toxic), and she goes on hikes with me regularly. My roommates spaniels receive similar treatment and absolutely adore getting their coats brushed, and fed, their head and ears massaged, going outside to play and more! They, Athena and Boudica love to go on their walks! I love all dogs and I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t love me yet in 27 years.
