About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a house full of family dogs and cats as well as some guinea pigs. Throughout my childhood I spent years volunteering at my Father's veterinary clinic, where I learned how to safely handle animals, recognize behavior cues, support stressed and sick pets, and assist with daily animal care routines. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal health, patience, and the importance of building trust with each pet individually. In college I had the privilege to work as an Animal Ambassador Educator at the Sunset Zoo, where I cared for and handled a variety of animals while also teaching others about animal behavior, enrichment, and welfare through our ambassador animals. I also spent time working in a doggie daycare facility. This gave me experience supervising multiple dogs at once, understanding play styles and social behaviors, providing enriching activities, all while maintaining safe and structured care. From farm animals to domestic animals, I treat your best friends as I would treat my own. Experienced in senior care and puppy care as well as cats and feral cats. Have volunteered at a shelter with bathing, walking, and cleaning kennels as well as boarding dogs for friends. My availability is open depending on your needs and logistics for dog walking and drop ins. Prefer if walking the dog in the community earlier morning hours or later afternoon hours to avoid the heat. For dropping by, anytime of the day can work. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My first German Shepherd, Joe, and my small dog, Lulu, taught me early the importance of love, care, and respect for pets. I saw my parents prepare their food and give them attention, showing me that animals are part of the family and deserve compassion, understanding, and affection. From a young age, I learned that animals act according to their environment and training. I remember a neighbor’s dog jumping toward me once—he only defended himself. In my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced one-acre backyard where they can run freely, a doggy door for access in and out, full access to the house, and orthopedic beds for resting. I do not use kennels, allowing them to feel at home. The space is kept clean and fresh at all times, with water always available. I make homemade snacks, including collagen, chicken feet, and beef bones with vegetables, all 100% natural. After my German Shepherd Joe passed away due to a serious illness, I began preparing natural meals combined with dry food for Jack, my current Shepherd. I am a full time Ultrasound Tech. My work hours are 7-5:30 and off on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My husband gets home at 5PM and is able to help with care as well! Weekend trips are perfect for me but if you need care through the week, it still works! I have a corgi and 2 kids ages 3 and 6! I also have two cats but they can be separated from the dogs easily if your dog hates cats! (the cats have the whole finished basement) I have a large yard for your babies to run around if they are trained to come when called. If not, I have no issues bringing them outside on a leash!

About: I am an Ace certified personal trainer. I am a very active person, so I will make sure your pet engages in lots of play time and gets plenty of exercise during their stay. I have a very large fenced in yard which will give your dog lots of space to run and play. I grew up living down the hill from my grandparents farm which included cows, pigs, chickens, lots of barn cats and dogs. I was the kid that was always finding hurt or stray animals and bringing them home to care for. I live in the country and all three of our cats are strays that that my husband and I took in.
