“We had another sitter booked; our pet and everything were packed in the car, ready to meet the sitter & leave for our trip; then the sitter ended up being a no-show. Thankfully, Nikole replied to my SOS on Rover! We were able to take our precious Princess Pickles to Nikole's right away. She & her spouse were incredible! They listened to our concerns, and were very understanding and supportive. They took excellent care of our baby girl. Nikole knew we were anxious and apprehensive, and sent daily pics and videos. Nikole and her family gave Pickles time and space to get used to her new surroundings, and helped the process by brushing her and giving her treats (her favorite things!). In the past, after being boarded with other sitters, Pickles got sick, was extremely clingy, had nightmares, etc. None of these things happened after her time with Nikole! It was an easy, seamless transition. We are SO grateful and thankful for Nikole and her family! She's the only sitter for us from now on. We can't recommend her enough. (Just don't bombard her with bookings so she's not available when we need her. 😉)”

I make sure to maintain a balanced routine that keeps me active and engaged, which means your pets will get the best of both worlds—lots of energy and attention! I’d love to share that with your pets while you’re away, providing them with the care and companionship they deserve. About: I’ve had dogs anywhere from Springer Spaniels to Cane Corsos, and I absolutely adore every breed. My experience doesn’t end with dogs; I have taken care of tortoises, bunnies, and guinea pigs, too! I know how to give medication, and of course all the necessities. I have also taken care of dogs with disabilities, and injuries. I know how to wrap stitched wounds, as well as change gauze, and apply ointments the correct way! I am here to help and would love to meet y’all’s pups! I have many pets at home, so I am very used to what an animal needs! I am aware of their schedule, and how often most pets need to be taken outside, for walks, or fed. I start with lots of love! I will, of course, greet any dog with some pets, then go into whatever service is booked! I am very enthusiastic, and patient with pets.

About: I’m usually the first person my family calls when they need someone to care for their cutie pets while they’re away. As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I send daily photo updates and report back any information requested. I have experience maintaining training schedules for puppies. I’m diligent at following care plans and requests. Overall, I truly to enjoy connecting with animals and their owners alike! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and considering me. I’m currently working towards my graduate degree and have a flexible daily schedule. I am able to stop by routinely (in between classes or internship commitments) to take care of your pet! I am available most weekends and weekdays. My schedule is subject to change in a few weeks with the start of a new semester. My goal is to continue the quality of care that your pet is used to. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

About: Old owner of Hippie Hounds Grooming in Mitchell IN. I’ve worked for the White River Humane Society and other groomers in the past. Still willing to groom! I currently have a job, but looking to get back into animal care! I would like to do animal care full time during the week! I just bought and moved into a new house and I’m saving to get a fence put up, so we go out on leashes! I have a fur baby who loves friends and is great at keeping company!

“I was very impressed with Brandon, who wanted to meet the dogs and me before his first encounter. He was late a couple of times, but not more than an hour. I verbally modified one visit time with him, canceling the last drop-in visit due to a conflict. I had another person coming to my house at that same time, but he must have forgotten and showed up anyway. The dogs loved him, and he spent 30-40 minutes at each drop-in. I would definitely hire him again given the chance.”

“She was great! I had a change in plans and she was able to accommodate me for an extra day. My girls were happy and comfy. She made sure to spent time with them and frequently sent me pictures.”

About: I've had a pet dog for as long as I can remember. My parents taught me the value of having a happy, healthy companion and instilled a love of pets and pet care that will last a lifetime. I've interacted with a variety of dogs over the years, both in my house and in friends' houses, from small Pomeranians to medium Beagles to large Black Labs and Great Danes. I currently have a Boxer/Bulldog mix who I've had since he was 6 weeks old, so your puppy will be comfortable with me! I know that trusting me with your pet is trusting me with a member of your family, and I take that honor very seriously. I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I currently work part time sporadically throughout the day, so I have plenty of opportunities to visit your pet during the day. I also have full availability in the evenings and at night, so overnight visits are not an issue. As I mentioned, I currently have a Boxer/Bulldog mix who would love to keep your pet company! I live in a quiet neighborhood a short drive away from Clinton Dog Park, so on nice days, we can take a trip to the park and run around there as well.

About: I know how to take care of animals due to me having three guinea pigs and two cats and a dog and they trained especially the guinea pigs they know how to walk to the bedroom to their snacks currently part time at the moment because right now I’m studying and doing a candle business to sell and make candles for fun but I’m mostly free to care for the animals when the pet at my house are very loving it just the two cats are old and when I babysit people dogs I have to make sure the animals are fine and eaten and have water and take them out for walks and try play ball with them

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends animals since I was very young. My parents let me have my own guinea pig to take care of myself starting in kindergarten. I’ve always loved animals and will help in anyway I can. I care for my elderly pugs on a daily basis. I work as a nanny and am a student but only in the morning and they are both very flexible so I can add in my needs with animal sitting. I’m available most night as well. I will follow all the instructions listed for me to do. I like to make sure the house is spotless when the owners get home so they can relax. I will take care of the animals by doing all I can to make sure they feel safe and cared for as well.

“Kylie did an amazing job of checking in on my 3 cats-she provided daily pics and spent plenty of time with them—even with all the crazy weather we were experiencing-will definitely be requesting Kylie again and would highly recommend her…😊😊😊”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I just graduated from college, so I have a relatively free schedule as I transition, and would love to dedicate that time to animal care! I make sure I am very attentive when seeing what the pet needs, and I make sure to accommodate for whatever recommendations my clients would like to see being done. I also have a flexible schedule and can work around whatever is needed for them to remain happy and healthy.

I am accustomed to all types of medical and behavioral needs. I have all kinds of relevant experience but the most important thing is that I can provide safe, reliable, and dedicated care for your pet while you're away. I know how stressful it is to trust your pet and potentially your home with a stranger, but I can assure you, they are in the best hands with me. I will respect your home, your rules, and your pet! I work Wednesdays through Saturdays, and am off Sundays through Tuesdays, and will be fully available during those days. I have no other commitments during those off days. “Marisa adopted a puppy two years ago, and I have watched her develop into a fantastic dog mom these past two years. Marisa demonstrates extraordinary patience, love, and commitment to not only her dog, but all animals she meets. The first thing she does when she comes home is greet her dog, Cow, with the biggest smile. She always has time to give him plenty of love and attention. Cow has lots of special needs due to allergies, and Marisa is amazing at being accommodating and caring for anything he requires. I promise that if you hire Marisa to care for your furry friends you can expect her to provide the same level of love, attention, and care to your pets as she gives her own. I would trust her in a heartbeat to watch over my own pet, and I can guarantee you will feel the same way. Book Marisa while you can!”
