About: I have always loved caring for animals and treat every pet like a member of the family. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, that allows me to provide your dog with my full attention and a calm, comfortable environment during their stay. My home features a secure fenced-in patio with pet-friendly turf for outdoor time, and I’m fortunate to have a large dog park directly across the street as well as another dog-friendly area within my neighborhood. Whether your pup enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I can tailor their care to their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I have also volunteered with animal shelters, giving me a strong understanding of dog safety and behavior. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I would be honored to provide reliable, attentive care for your dog. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am currently a nursing student and stay at home mom. This allows me to give your fur babies my full attention and lots of love and interactive play! I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained as closely as possible. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, and any special instructions. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, potty breaks, and a clean, safe environment. Dogs have access to a fenced-in patio with pet turf and can enjoy walks or trips to the nearby dog park if approved by their owner. Cats are provided with a quiet, comfortable space, fresh water, clean litter boxes, and enrichment activities tailored to their personality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I follow all care instructions carefully, provide regular updates and photos, maintain feeding and medication schedules, clean up after pets, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection while their family is away. My priority is always making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind.
About: Hi!! I am a senior at ECU and my family and I just moved to the Raleigh area from New York. I have been sitting for a little over three years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. They were my built in best friends and most of the time I enjoyed their company over my family’s. I am a morning person and like starting my days quite early so any of you need anything in the morning, I would love to help! I absolutely adore dogs and everything about them! Any time there is one in the room I am drawn to it and it gets my undivided love and attention. Most of my family and friends call me the dog whisperer because all dogs love me too! I have been sitting for a little over two years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). I am open to anything from house sitting to just check ins- whatever is needed! My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. They were my built in best friends and most of the time I enjoyed their company over my family’s. I now have a a dog of my own, Champ as well as foster dogs though Pitt Friends so I am highly knowledgeable with anything regarding dogs and puppies. I have so much free time on my hands that I can work with as many that I possibly can! I like being up early and don’t mind being out all day. I can keep your gates and doors locked while we are inside. Make sure the dog is always on a leash before opening a door for a walk.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little! I've always loved animals and wanted to take on the responsibility of caring for them. Whether this was my next door neighbors or my own, I was always up for the job! I own a mini horse (my 1 year old saint bernard), 1 inside only cat, and 2 outside cats. As for work, I am a fourth grade teacher and have the patience and enthusiasm to be the pet sitter you need. I am currently out for summer break as an elementary teacher. My schedule is very open and flexible. I will be home full time until mid August. Once I go back to work, I will still be able to board animals at my house. However, it is important for them to be crate trained as I plan to have them crated during the day - at least in the beginning. This will more than likely change as I get to know the animal more and how they interact with my animals! It's essential for the animals to feel safe in a place they are unfamiliar with and around animals they do not know! Please know that when I arrive home, they will receive plenty of enrichment through attention, daily walks, and play time with me or other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard that connects to another fenced in yard belonging to my parents and their two dogs. These areas are closed off unless I want the dogs to have some play time. All 3 dogs, including my own, are very sweet and get along well! Dog can be easily crated if needed, I own a large crate with a lot of room. As for your home, I will treat it like it's my own and love your pets like they are my own. Animals provide a nice change from the chaos that goes on in the everyday life of a teacher. I look forward to taking your fur baby on walks, providing enrichment, and cleaning litter boxes or other pet related needs!

I offer drop-in and extended stay services in or around the Greenville NC area. Let's get those tails wagging! I have a lot of free time and love to spend time with my own pets. My schedule is very open all day every day. I feed my dogs twice a day I also walk them twice a day sometimes even three times if it’s cool outside. They always have fresh water and toys.
About: I have been bringing home and taking in animals ever since 2010 when I was in 5th grade. I have always put a lot of time, patience, love, sweat and money into my own animals. Some duties I can help assist with include potty training, walking, teaching training commands & any senior/special needs care. If needed I can administer oral liquid medications, as well as pills and I can change diapers too. I am a stay at home dog mommy so I generally have a lot of time, love & space to offer at my house throughout the week for guests. I'd love to take care of your babies or walk them to help you out with your busy schedule! !!!NEW DAYCARE INQUIRIES PLEASE READ!!! :) DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF CLIENTS IVE HAD TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO MY DAYCARE HOURS THEY ARE NOW FROM 8AM-8PM. **My base rate of $35/day ensures your baby with up to 12 hours per day in my care! About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. I’ve worked with rover in the past when I was in high school and it was a great experience. I am currently working part time but my schedule is relatively flexible. As far as boarding goes there is and will always be someone at the house caring for the dogs 24/7. I have a large plot of land adjacent to my house for the puppies to play in. I currently have three very friendly small dogs who love to play and make friends.
“Sami was great with our girls. She communicated regularly and even stayed a bit longer when I was slower to respond. Very attentive and observant about change in behavior. Thank you for taking great care of our girls!”

“Grace was such a great sitter while we were away for a few days. She had great communication and provided lovely pictures of our cat. She did a phenomenal job and would use her again and recommend to others!”

“Sam has been a phenomenal sitter! I had to reach out to her with very short notice and she had such a quick response. Even with the short notice, Sam was so eager to help me and take care of Max when she could. She kept me very updated of what was going on with max through messages and pictures several times each day. Sam has been great, I’d surely recommend her as I’ll be using her if I need a sitter again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
