About: I know how hard it is to leave your beloved fur baby and I want you and your pet to be happy, knowing they're in good hands. I am patient, gentle and affectionate with animals and want them to have a great experience whenever I am with them. I love feeding animals and giving them treats, but I am respectful of the client's wishes and will strictly follow all feeding instructions. I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).
About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. About: I've worked with dogs, cats, and other animals since middle school. I've done short- and long-term sitting for dogs varying from a weekend with a mixed breed rescue to a month with a purebred Australian shepherd.
