After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!
About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. About: I've had dogs all my life as a kid and now as an adult! Love dogs to no end, Have a New Foundland and Golden Retriever. Fenced in back yard on 4 acres, Not into bathing and grooming dogs but will give them the care they need and more! I'm retired military and will make this a fulltime thing if things work out! I currently work part time at Lowe's and my wife is home during the day I have a fenced in backyard and also have 2 dogs of my own. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls. I am currently a student in nursing school and am working as a part time server. I only have classes two days a week on Monday (6 AM - 6 PM) and Tuesday (8:30 AM - 11:15 AM) and work a couple hours 2 evenings a week, but can take off if needed for services. I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

I currently work at a vet hospital part time on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday times ranging from 7am-3pm, I often don’t get scheduled all days as well as all of the mentioned time every week so please still reach out!
