About: I'm person that does the work and listen to the animals too. I worked with military working dogs. Have raised my own, I even sucker for the abandon ones too. My life has been learning how to groom, including nails, medicines and how to feed certain dogs due to there digestive track. About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. About: I am a former police Richmond Police Officer who has worked with and cared for dogs since age 12 in many settings. About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! About: I’ve taken care of friends’ and family members dogs since I was young. I have been assisting my girlfriend with her pet care business for the past two years and am looking to expand my services. I have learned a lot from her veterinary experience and have assisted her with nail trims and medication administration as well. I have experience with regular dog walks and boarding. My two most important skills are 1) keeping pups entertained and 2) keeping pups safe. I will pretty much have an open schedule all week. I have a couple scheduled dog walks but am mainly working from home all day. I am home most of the day. I walk my dogs and client dogs every 2-4 hours and make sure everyone gets their energy out before bedtime. On scheduled walks, I typically provide thirty minute walks in my clients’ neighborhoods, making sure my little buddy gets their energy out. Plenty of water and treats are always offered.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was seven years old. My family had two kittens that I cared for and I was responsible for pet sitting other fur babies in the neighborhood growing up. I also attended many animal science/nature camps growing up, it’s where I got my first hermit crab! I also know the Heimlich maneuver for both cats and dogs. In my junior year of high school I applied and was accepted to the HOSA veterinary science program where I graduated in the National Honors Society. Shortly after graduation, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job was to help restrain animals for exams/shots, organize medications, prepare/read fecal slides and determine if intestinal parasites are present, collect urine samples, and provide basic care. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls. I am currently a student in nursing school and am working as a part time server. I only have classes two days a week on Monday (6 AM - 6 PM) and Tuesday (8:30 AM - 11:15 AM) and work a couple hours 2 evenings a week, but can take off if needed for services. I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

I currently work at a vet hospital part time on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday times ranging from 7am-3pm, I often don’t get scheduled all days as well as all of the mentioned time every week so please still reach out! I also offer training services just an upcoming newer trainer as I’m a dog trainer with a career diploma in the field. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I’m hoping to be able to take care of others pets near me while earning money on the side. Services I can provide would include feeding them, administration of medications (if needed), training (if owner would like), bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, brushing (cost extra depending on service, brushing is free unless matted) take them outside to play and potty, any other services owner may need. They have free range of the house other than our living room couch. We have an Invisible fence brand around our yard and we live in a cul-da-sac in our neighborhood, which is also great for walks. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. We live in a cul-de-sac in our neighborhood which is great for walking, plus an Invisible fence around our wooded yard, which is great for playing fetch. Dogs are welcome to freely roam inside the home, other than on the living room couch. We have multiple dog beds, toys/bones, and water bowls around the house, plus two couches upstairs that the dogs are allowed on.
