About: Hello my name is Ashly. I am an animal lover that has completed several vet tech classes at yuba college. I own one dog, a pig, and a few chickens. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family members. I am a mom of two. I can help out 7 days a week. MUST provide dog food for your pet for each stay unless you plan to hand me cash to go to the store to grab food for the duration of your pet's stay. My fence is a secure 6 feet high chain link fence. I am willing to check in on your furry family members, unable to stay at your home, however I am able to stop by every 1-4 hours depending on distance.

“April was absolutely amazing!! She was so sweet with our kitties, sent amazing pictures, and even did additional cleaning to keep their areas clean. We could not recommend her more!”

“Savannah was very professional and prompt. She understood our Do”

“Christina was amazing! She was understanding and patient with my anxious pup, and capable of handling my dog-reactive one. I always worry that my roughhousing, loud dogs will be too intense for people, but Christina's experience proved to be a perfect fit! I would definitely recommend her as a sitter :)”

About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.

“Catie is the best! She is so kind and thoughtful! She is on time, responsible and loves my fur babies when I’m gone. I highly recommend her and personally can’t imagine having anyone else!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was so happy with my choice of Gretchen as my pet sitter. She did drop-in visits for 6 days with my kitties and was great with communication about the visits and sending pictures. She gave them fresh food and water and a little play time/snuggle time, and did the litter scooping/changing. She also brought in the mail and watered the plants for me. She was also very easy to communicate with in advance of the sitting. My kitties were happy to see me when I got back, but did not seem at all stressed from the experience. I will definitely use Gretchen again the next time I need a pet sitter!”

“Kay is wonderful! Super communicative, kind, and trustworthy. Best compliment for a pet sitter is when the pet is barely excited to see their owner when they return because they were so well loved, and my cat had obviously been given great care and attention from Kay and was totally normal and regulated when we got home. Thanks so much for everything, Kay!!! Toaster and we appreciate you!!”

I am currently enrolled in Victoria Stillwell Academy in pursuit of the goal of working with dogs that have behavioral issues and to train dogs to be service pets for ptsd patients. About: I have been around and taken care of animals since I was a child. I’ve always been told that I “have a way” with animals. My family and friends rely on me to take care of their fur babies while they’re away. Also, I just really want to spend time with your pets. Just don’t tell my cat. I am currently working full time but I only work 3 days a week. So that gives me extra time to do other things. I get my work schedule a month in advance. I am pretty flexible and am willing to work with your needs. I will not be able to bring your pet to my home because I live in an apartment and I don’t think my cats would like that very much. However, I am able to go to your home or a park nearby. Whatever is needed and best for your pets wellbeing.

“She did a great job and she sent me such sweet pics. Usually, My cat wouldn't come out to people and wouldn't play well.”

TYLER M.
“I would like to first preface this review by explaining the capacity in which I worked with Tyler and exactly what our job was like. I met Tyler while working at Gold Rush Dog Tours in Juneau, Alaska. We each were responsible for a team of about 35 sled dogs. The conditions were often times horrendous, with torrential downpours, frigid temperatures, brutal sun, working 6 days a week 12 to 14 hour days. It was brutal. Now, to speak on Tyler. If I had to choose just two words to describes Tyler’s character it would reliable and committed. Throughout our entire 8 month season, Tyler was one of the only people to never miss a 6am wake up to tend to the dogs and was always the last one in the dog yard at the end of night making sure each and everyone of his pups was taken care of. He truly held compassion for every single dog in the entire yard, not just the ones he was primarily responsible for. Tyler was also the ONLY person I trusted to take care of my dog team when I was on my day off because like I mentioned previously, he truly cared. I promise you that your company has never had an employee as trustworthy and hard working as Tyler McAllister and he will love, protect, and care for every single animal he is given responsibility for. Rain, sleet, or shine, he will be there.”
