About: I have had pets my entire life and love being around animals! I have pet sat for many friends and neighbors so I am very comfortable spending time with your furry friends! I am currently on summer break before I go to grad school and have a very light, flexible schedule so I have so much time to spend with your pups! I am open to taking care of your animals however they are most comfortable, whether that's going outside, being put in a crate, or however you seem best fit!

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, as I grew up in a pet-loving household where we cared for everything from hamsters and turtles to multiple dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets, and even fish. I’ve also volunteered both formally and informally with local SPCA chapters and animal shelters from a young age, helping to walk, feed, and care for dogs of a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have hands on experience with dogs who need extra attention and medical care. I've raised two dogs from puppyhood—my current dog, Sophia, and a pit bull my family had previously—and have done everything from potty training to leash work and daily routines. Sophia is diabetic and blind, so I’m no stranger to giving insulin shots, monitoring glucose levels, and understanding how to be patient and calm with pets who have special needs or anxiety. Whether it's caring for seniors, puppies, or pets with health conditions, I always aim to treat them like family because that’s exactly what they are. I am currently on break from school at the University of Delaware, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Preferably, I am available after 10:00 AM and before 8:00 PM. For overnights, I will stay with your pet for 12 hours (start/end depends on animals schedule) and do one drop in during the mid day. Reach out to me for additional care options (constant care, additional visits, etc.)! When I care for pets through walks or drop-in visits, I approach each home and animal with respect, patience, and awareness. I know every pet has their own personality, boundaries, and needs, so I'll never assume anything upon first meeting. I take time to observe their behavior, let them come to me at their own pace, and make sure we’re both comfortable before jumping into getting close and personal. This also helps me gauge what kind of interaction they’re ready for and to prioritize safety—for your pet and for myself—by staying alert to their body language, keeping a calm energy, and never rushing trust. I will follow any specific instructions you give closely, especially if your pet has particular sensitivities or routines. I also take practical steps on walks, like avoiding overly stimulating routes or unknown dogs, and I’m always careful with things like leashing, doors, or feeding to avoid stress or accidents. I recently earned a certificate from the American Red Cross in Pet CPR and First Aid, so I am prepared even for the worst situations (which I hope I never will have to be 😅).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was about 16 years old. I have plenty of experience with animals of all different shapes and sizes. I’m a ER nurse and I love to help others and will do everything in my power to make sure that your pet is in the best hands possible! Last but not least, I am also open to watching other furry friends such as bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters and so forth! I’m a nurse and I have the ability to make my own schedule so essentially, you can tell me what days you need and I’ll can create my work schedule around that! I will be sure to always keep your pet on a leash when letting them use the bathroom outside. I currently have a mini aussiedoodle puppy at home. Once again, I care for cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, you name it!

About: I grew up with dogs and have had cats as an adult. I love dogs but I travel too much to have my own, so pet sitting is the next best thing. I work from home and have good control over my schedule. I already take walk breaks during the day (including 45 min - 1 hour at lunchtime) and have a large fenced yard. I give lots of attention and cuddles to any dogs and cats in my care, and ensure plenty of playtime, running, and walks. Dogs and cats are welcome in my workspace while I’m working, and on the furniture throughout the house.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs and have been caring for both for years. I’ve always been an avid animal lover, so Rover just felt like a natural fit. I find that I connect well with most animals I meet and am a go-to option for many of my friends and loved ones who travel and need a pet sitter. I am patient, compassionate, and gentle and will do everything I can to make your pet feel loved and happy while you’re away! About: I’ve taken care of many different animals in my life ranging from beta fish to lizards to small dogs to big dogs. I’m confident in dealing with any issues that may arise I’m currently the owner of a golden retriever and a brown lab golden retriever mix that have trained as seeing eye dogs but unfortunately dropped out of the program for minor health reasons. I take them out every morning and afternoon and night. I feed them most days as my spouse does some days as well. My moto is let them have fun but be safe about it. For example in our apartment we will throw the toy up and down the hallway but we make sure that nothing breakable is in the way. We are also lucky enough to have a field close by with a long lead to let them run around and play fetch with them.
