About: I have loved animals all my life. I currently have the pleasure of caring for 3 dogs, a bird and an outdoor cat in my home. 1 of my dogs is senior and requires medication daily. I love birds and would board your bird in a heartbeat! I think pets just make life better. Until you need to find pet care and it’s super expensive! I offer low cost pet care in my home on the weekends so that you can go on a weekend trip. One day when I retire I hope to open that up to everyday of the week, but for now I work full time. My house has a large fenced backyard where dogs can roam and play. I also have a husky/border collie and a corgi mix who would love to be a companion to your dog for the weekend. They love when friends come to play. I currently care for my moms dog every time she goes on vacation and thought, hey, why don’t I start up this little pet sitting business on the side since I enjoy having furry buddies around. Everytime Brownie comes she gets treated like a queen with lots of attention and love. Don’t you want that for your dog, instead of a cold crate at the vet? Just hire me and your dog will feel like it’s on vacation too. I work full-time so a weekend situation would be best if you want your pet to have attention all day. Otherwise, I get home at 3 everyday and would be open to boarding during the week if you were okay with that. My dogs get let out around 10 am by my husband and just lounge and sleep all day until 3 pm when I get home. It works for us :) I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs that can keep your dogs company. My other dog is senior and is separated from the bunch due to her being blind and deaf. She’s still loved like family, just in her own doggy play pen for safety. If you need senior dog care, I’m your sitter, as I have plenty of experience with my own shitzhu, Beauty. I always make sure there’s fresh water, and give snacks during the day. I dental bone a day and two meals. Whatever your dog’s food preferences are, I can do. I am used to giving medication daily as well.

About: I grew up in a family of animal lovers and have been surrounded by them ever since! I affectionately call my dog and cat "the boys" and am always working to make sure they have the best life possible. I was a dog walker in Richmond and worked with many different types of dogs and temperament's. From French Bulldogs who hate skateboards to a Great Pyrenes mix who just wanted to cuddle. I cared for my childhood dog when he had cancer and have had my current dog since he was a puppy, giving me experiences in the many stages of life and health. I've worked with a trainer and am familiar with best leash walking practices and reading dog body language. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to spend much of my time on pet care and services. I am happy to take your pets on "field trips" to my favorite local trails if that is something you're interested in. Safety is of upmost concern for me. Your dog will always be on a lead or in a fenced in backyard. I have experience with leash aggression so I will also prioritize avoiding other dogs on walks when necessary.

About: I have taken care of pets for awhile and have owned pets throughout my life I love dogs and have two fur babies of my own and love them more than life. I love animals so much I hope I can bring a positive impact on your pets life I work 8:15-4:15 Monday through Fridays I’m available after 4:15 most days if needed but not for a long period of time. I am available most weekends I can come in for drop ins or dog walks I do not recommend to board in my home because my dogs are protective I would have to do a meet and greet if so. This would be my second time pet sitting but I will do my very best to give the best care for your pet I am very good about following rules

About: I’ve worked in pet care professionally for 9 years, 4 of those years being spent in veterinary medicine. I approach pet care in ways that makes the pets most comfortable and value building relationships with the pets as much as I do my clients. I have an academic background in public health and am currently pursuing higher education with the end goal of earning a DVM. I am currently working full time at an animal hospital in Newport News, making my schedule more limited than it used to be for my pet sitting clients. My schedule is more workable for households located in Deltaville, Topping, Gloucester, Glouster Point, Hayes and Yorktown. Morning and evening visits are possible all days of the week, mid day / afternoon visits are currently limited to weekends. Please reach out to ask about scheduling possibilities! Early AM (before 7:30AM) and evening (after 6pm) visits available all week. Afternoon / mid day visits are dependent on location and day, but open every weekend. I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

About: Most of my experience was mostly personal with the numerous animals I had when I was growing up. But I also have experience with other friends or families' animals. During that, I have taken care of the dietary needs of pit bulls to Dachsund. I am currently a student meaning I can have more time taking care of your animals as I only will have homework and no job I have gates all around my house to avoid certain rooms to ensure no animals gets in anything. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.

About: I have owned, rescued, and fostered dogs and cats of any age. I have no issues handling emergencies and medication or special care to your babies. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can devote lots of attention to your babies. I love animals and am experienced with pretty much any situation that comes up. I have a fenced yard and three dog friendly pups to keep your dogs entertained. Kitties will have access to the kitty playground my husband has built that is separate from the dogs

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around nine years old. Growing up I had two dogs who were diabetic so as a result, I have learned how to deal with stressful medical situations regarding animals, including seizures and regular medication schedules. I also work at a doggy daycare currently, and as a result, I have picked up very useful skills for pet sitting, including medication administration, restraint, de-escalation procedures, and so much more! Pet care fits great into my schedule! I work early mornings starting at 6-6:30am In person. This means I can get up as early as your dog needs for breakfast, walks and other potential needs. I work Until about 1 pm and I am free the rest of the day with varying off days each week. Pets cared for in my home will be confined to a basement appt for roaming the house. They will have plenty of beds, toys and love coming from me and other members of my family. They also would have a fun little friend (my dog truffles). In your home It is relatively the same. I will not open any doors/ cabinets/ drawers I don’t need too. I will clean up after myself and your dog consistently and do any daily maintenance tasks for the animals required in your home. Basically I will follow whatever the house rules are!

About: I am open to caring for any and all pets. As someone who currently has 3 Great Pyrenees, an Austrian Kelpie puppy, and other pets, I am experienced in all areas and types. I have open availability to care for pets. I work for myself so build my schedule around jobs and appointments as needed. I am very flexible with accommodations so please reach out if you have any questions. I do not offer overnight in home care at the moment due to all of my pets at home but will gladly stay at your home with your pet. I can send pictures and videos of your pet to you and don't mind cameras in the home so you can drop in any time and see your fur and/or scaly baby.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 15. I started working for a groomer as a bather for 7 years and have worked at Animal Care of Gloucester for 7 years. I am very well experienced in the their well being, animal behavior, walking, feeding, medicating, bathing. I would love to be able to help take care of animals in my free time. From puppies to seniors I have worked with them all. I am currently working looking for work but I would love to spend my free time taking care of animals. I do have my son every other weekend, so I will be available for pet sitting overnight every other weekend. I live at the end of a quarter mile dirt road off of the main streets, I do not have a fenced in yard but am able to leash walk as many times a day as needed. I have 5 babies of my own, 1 dogs, 2 cats, and a cockatiel that are very friendly and live other animals. I can easily crate if needed and provided and have a pet safe home. I am currently looking for work so anytime is perfectly fine. I do take & pick my son up from school everyday at 8:30am and 3:30pm. I can easily crate pets if needed. I live at the end of a quarter mile dirt road so there is very little traffic and plenty of space for walks.

About: Lifetime dog owner, very active. I love long walks on the beach. And so do my dogs! I currently have a 5 year old Lab/Great Dane mix and 3 year old Aussie mix. We walk and play daily. I am willing to travel for daily walks or overnight stays. All size dogs are welcome. Large dogs are no problem. I’ve got a great arm so I’m the perfect fetch partner. I update my availability weekly. Willing to send updates and pictures as requested! I have a seasonal job so when my calendar is open I’m available throughout the week and weekend. Early mornings or late nights don’t bother me! I try to view your pet as my own. I’m more than happy to double check instructions and preferences to make sure your pet is treated well!
