“Erin house-sat for us when we needed a cat sitter for four days on short notice. She was amazing! Her connection to the kitties and thoughtful, conscientious approach to the care of our beloved companions set my mind at ease. It was clear from our first conversation that she was trustworthy and dependable, which was reassuring since we've never had a house-sitter. We have a senior cat who requires twice-daily medication and Erin handled all his special needs. She communicated clearly, left the house in excellent condition, and is also just a wonderful person all around!”

About: I have been raised in a home with pets and have never lived without them. I've had many different types of companions from tarantulas to rabbits to big lovable doggies. I currently have a puppy, Halo, a cat, Jake, and little Richie, my Betta. Wether it's play time with toys, nice walks around the neighborhood, hikes or cuddles, giving your friend what they need most is my top priority. If your dog is child friendly my 12 year old son could also come on occasion for extra play time. Sure makes monkey in the middle easier :) I am now available to help on weekends. I hope you will consider me to help you and your loved ones out. I hope your day is stress free and filled with cuddles.

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs and an occasional fish. I have a passion for animals and love learning all about their different personalities and quirks! I work part time and I’m free any time after 3pm and before 9am. Also free Tuesday and Wednesdays all day! I am willing to work with anyone’s schedule as well so if you need other times feel free to reach out and I can make anything work. I love spending time with pets. Going out for walks or playing outside and just snuggling up on a couch and watching a movie together! I like when they’re always in my line of sight just to make sure no ones getting into anything they shouldn’t.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, a dedicated dog momma for 9 years and cat momma for 1. I’d love to take your pup on a nature hike with my dogs during the day - please reach out for a meet and greet so we can do introductions :) I have a very flexible schedule these days. I am in school and work part time from home. With enough notice I can usually plan around most daytime requests. I am not currently offering boarding. “Amy was a wonderful sitter for our animals. We are so thankful for her help. She was very good at communicating with us while we were away so we knew everything was well at home.”

About: I’ve taken care of young puppies, energetic dogs and senior pets as well. We are an outdoorsie family and like to go for long walk and hikes with our dog. High energy pet is a no problem! Our current dog is a senior, so we have a nice accommodating environment for her and other senior pups. I’m staying home currently with a baby. I decided to start providing pet care for extra income and for interacting with other animals, as we are not a able to get more animals at this time. I have a large house with a one acre yard and an and an overhead trolley cable. There are multiple rooms where the dogs can rest and a large crate where the doggies can be if they feel safe there.

About: I’ve been raised in a house with many types of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds and fish! I have worked at and volunteered at multiple wildlife rehabilitation centers and zoos, and have been taking care of family and friends’ household pets for many years. I’m focusing on school and working in my passion throughout this summer. I’ll be free most weekdays and weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. I am experienced in giving medication to animals and treating superficial wounds. I also have experience in dog training, crating, and cat & dog CPR.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.

About: I worked for the UCSPCA for 12 years (manager of animal care for four years)! I’ve had dogs/cats since I was little. They bring me great joy! I’m very active and love to hike safely. I know how to do basic training (not certified but have worked alongside trainers for years): leash walking improvement, reactivity improvement, basic commands). I have a senior, Bubba. He goes potty 3-4x per day in addition to hiking (Mohonk, Vernooykill Falls, Neversink, Catskills, etc) multiple times a week. I offer potty walks, playtime, leash work, hiking, easy rail trail walks, stay-in pet sitting, playtime with Bubba. I have been pet sitting/walking for many years (mostly through word of mouth, volunteers from my work at the shelter, adopters, etc).

“Clare is a outstanding sitter. She took great care of our animals when we were in a bind due to a family emergency. Our dogs had daily walks and playtime, and they and our cats received plenty of attention. Check-ins were prompt and frequent, and she has great communication skills. The experience was worry free.”

Logan L.
“I’ve known Logan for over 10 years. When I became the Operations Manager at the Ulster County SPCA, Logan stood out as the best employee on our team for many reasons. She is a true team player—kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring toward both people and animals. Logan began her work in animal care and never hesitated to get her hands dirty. Her versatility and dedication allowed her to wear many hats, including taking on management roles. She has overseen the care of both cats and dogs, managed daily routines, monitored medical conditions, and facilitated adoptions. In addition, she played a critical role in training animals, staff, and volunteers alike. Logan is dependable, empathetic, reliable, and honest. She has a warm, calming presence and an incredible personality that puts everyone at ease. She truly has a gift with animals—she recently worked with a difficult, untrained dog belonging to a family member, and in just one session, she was able to get the dog to peacefully coexist with another it had previously tried to attack. I would trust Logan completely—with my animals, my home, and without hesitation.”

Tabasco cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jodi is THE BEST. Period. We recently reconnected on Rover, but I’ve known Jodi for a long time. She has always taken great care of my pets, and I know MANY satisfied customers who agree with me. She is really, really good at what she does. When it comes to house sitting, she is hands down second to none. She often leaves a house cleaner than she found it (like I said, I know a bunch of her other clients!) and it is not uncommon for clients to come home to a noticeably calm doggie (she gives dogs a LOT of exercise). I can’t overstate how incredible she is. Do yourself a favor and book her. Seriously.
