About: I have 30 years of dog experience and will love your dog like my own. There is no dog or task too big or too small. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and grew up with 100+ pound dogs in our home and on our furniture. I work well with all temperaments. Please let me know how I can help! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pups! My schedule is flexible, and I’m open to any hours: days, nights, weekends. I have a quarter acre fenced in yard for your pups to feel the wind in their fur! My puggle Oscar loves to play with other dogs.

About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. We currently have 2 beautiful Great Danes, a bunch of rabbits, outside kitties, and a chinchilla! Our dogs love people, small animals, and would love a bigger dog to run around with. We would love to cuddle with your fur babies, go for walks, or just play in the fenced yard! We currently work 4 days a week leaving Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to watch and care for your animals. My boyfriend is an early riser and I’m a night owl, so you’re pet will have plenty of time to get the care they need. We have a 2 story house with lots of room for them to lay around and have their own space if needed. We also have a large backyard that is fenced off already for our dogs.

About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.

I currently work from home, so have an incredibly flexible schedule and my goal is to always make sure your pet has the most enjoyable time while it’s family is away. My one dog is on a few different medications due to underlying health issues, and she has always made sure follow his care plan and report to me about his condition while i am away. I cant recommend a better/more fit person to care for your fur babies!”

Amanda K.
“I am so very attached and emotional about my 19 year old cat, Inkie. Amanda immediately connected to her when petting her in their first meeting. Amanda knew just how to pet her. Inkie responded immediately with a purr. Amanda showed up every day, twice a day to feed and pet Inkie. She took pictures with her cell phone and sent them to me. I was SO grateful for her care. I recommend Amanda 100%!!!! Michèle Marsh”

Allison M.
“Allison and I have been best friends for over ten years, ever since I can remember she has always had a huge heart for all animals. She has always had pets and multiple different types from cats and dogs to hamsters and bunnies. She has now made a career out of this love and is a manager at a dog boarding kennel. She is the best dog mom I know and cares for others pets just much (including mine!).”

Susie S.
“Susie dogsat/house sat my 3 dogs for a week and got way more than she bargained for! My youngest Golden ate a pair of socks the day before we left on vacation and ended up having emergency surgery the day that we left. Susie coordinated with my mom to have Teddy picked up from surgery and transported to the house, and from there she took care of everything! Susie and her daughter took care of Teddy after surgery as if he was her own! She slept on the couch with him at night since he couldn't go upstairs, took him out on a leash several times a day, gave him his medications at 2 a.m., fed him a special diet, kenneled him, etc., all while managing my other two big dogs. She did a fantastic job and had no qualms about taking care of Teddy. All three of my boys LOVED her and had a great time! She sent pics showing how happy they were, she took the two healthy ones for a walk, and swam with them in the pool. She even picked up pooper-scooped the yard! I would recommend her in a heartbeat and plan to use her services again later this month!”

Yamila C.

“Always reliable and loves our dog!”

Ashlee A.
“Ashlee is amazing! She went above and beyond taking care of my dog Cinnamon. He had a few accidents inside our house, so she spent extra time here with him. Cleaned and vacuumed my floors as if it was her home. Leaving it smells great! My dog was very happy to have her take care of him! I would use Ashlee again when I go away. I highly recommend her! Thank you Ashlee! 😊”
