About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Hello! I am a positive-reinforcement based dog trainer and lover who has experience with a plethora of dog breeds, ages, temperaments, and medical issues. I have an extensive history with caring for and training dogs, with a specialization in the training of fearful or reactive dogs. I believe that the responsibility of caring for another’s pet goes beyond the necessities: it is ensuring that the dog is comforted during an often difficult time, and the owner is reassured that their pet is in the best hands. Further, it is necessary to be sure that the animals physical, emotional, and needs are fully met. I hope to establish a relationship with the pet(s) and their owners. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of animals and make a great effort to ensure that the pet is comfortable and well taken care of. I am currently working in other animal care positions and am able to adjust my schedule to your pet’s care needs. My schedule is relatively flexible, and can be adjusted. About: i’ve had dogs my entire life boxer, beagles, labs, poodles, i've walked, fed, and bathed them for as long as i can remember, taking care of dogs brings me joy, and i would treat your dog as my own i currently work night shift at ups, so i can’t stay the night or board the dogs but i can come over in the morning and walk or take care of them i also go to the gym everyday and physically fit to take care of them i am very respectful of other peoples houses, and of their pets, i would create a loving and safe environment and i can tend to anything needed

About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! About: I am a recent college graduate and frequently volunteer with KCPP (every Sunday) doing dogs day out and am also in the process of becoming a foster. I have experience with dogs ranging from LARGE to small, and have a hard headed pitbull at home. I love all dogs and would love to become a frequent reliable sitter. I have TONS of repeat clients on and off of rover and would love to build a relationship with you and your pets! I have an apartment with a patio and open door. Nova spends a lot of time on the patio and we take long walks atleast every 4 hours including small potty breaks. I keep my dog very active and feed her twice daily, she’s allowed on furniture and in my bed. Dog sitting is currently my only source of income and has my full attention! I have tons of free time in my search for a full time job after recently graduating. I can do both! I often stay in my regular clients home and would need to do a meet and greet with my dog beforehand.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my family since I was 10. I love to give them the attention and love they deserve! Your fur baby will miss you when you’re gone, but I can make that time away easier and less stressful. I work right down the road from my home, so I can check on them at lunch. On the weekends, I’m wide open and would love to watch your furry family member. Your dog can snuggle up on the sofa with me. If you need me to crate your dog, I can totally do that. I am also willing to take your dog for walks. I think sticking to the dog’s routine is best.

About: I have taken care of my sister pets, my own pets. and friends pets, and landlords pets. I help my sister with her horses, which by the way, my Shih Tzu likes..lol I am available anytime time of the week..I would like as many hours as possible on a Monday through Friday basis..I flexible with walking, playing, or just being for company pups. feeding your pups. I walk my own dog seversl times a day. We get out and play. I like to go to dog parks. My dog is social so he has fun! If need be I can crate also. I am here to care for your pup at your wishes.

I currently work at home at a very flexable company and can fit the time needed in most situations. We can definitely make something work. On a typical vist I will clen up anything, feed and water them and of course we will have to show them love. You will also receive pictures at each visit.

About: I was raised on a farm with pets my entire life. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I have taken care of pets for friends and family for many years. I have always felt a deep connection to furbabies. I work part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to accommodate the needs of your pet. I live next to a nice park where your dog can potty. I have a very sweet mini poodle myself to keep your furbaby company. We often walk the Heritage Trail and take walks down by the river that I would love to include your dog on! I do have an extra crate if you would like your furbaby crated.

About: I've been a cat and dog owner for most of my life. I have a unique love for animals that is hard to find. I currently have several cats who have there own play room separate from animals I would be sitting. I have experience with special needs animals. I have worked with rescues and medically challenged animals. I have worked with elderly animals and animals that need medications. I make my own schedule for work so I will be sure to make your pets a top priority! I am home most of the time so they wouldn't be left unsupervised for very long during there stay! I have a large yard unfenced so I always walk pets on leashes. I have several cats that are comfortable with both cats and dogs to help keep your pets company!

About: I've taken care of my friends and family members dogs numerous times over the years. I also have a pit-terrier myself that I adopted in October 2021 from a shelter. I currently work full time. However, that will not interfere with my ability to dog sit as I intend on doing it on my days off I plan on caring for pets in my clients home and treating their property with respect and the same level of care I do in my own home.
