One of our cats is quite anxious and typically wary of strangers (especially men), but Cole was patient and gentle, quickly winning him over with his calm demeanor and understanding of his needs. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands. Our other cat, a bit more laid-back, absolutely adored him! The house was very clean when we got back home, too. I am 22 years old and I grew up with a black lab who had severe separation anxiety, so I understand firsthand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when caring for pets with unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs extra comfort while you’re away, I’m committed to providing attentive, personalized care that helps them feel safe and loved. I wrap up work around 1/2 pm so I have the entirety of my afternoons to care for my pet clients! I can work every day of the week! Weekends will need to be 2 days in advance for approval. I own no pets of my own which is why I love this job. It allows me to still live on sweet pets while their owners are gone. About: I have owned a dog for seven years and I have taken care of numerous dogs over the years as well. I can take care of multiple dogs and I love to spend quality time and give them the love that they need. They are truly one of a kind animals and I love the joy that they bring me. I work part time at a fast food restaurant and I will be going to school two days a week starting in the fall, which gives me a lot of free time to dog sit, cat sit and spend overnights with them. As a result of my part time schedule, I cannot be there for the dogs or cats at all hours of the day but I can be there anytime that I am not working. I am able to care for pets whether they are outdoor animals or indoor animals. I have taken care of cats who are indoor and dogs who are able to be indoors or outdoors.

I have many of my own leashes, training collars, etc so walks can go smoothly and make it an enjoyable experience for myself and the pet. I always keep extra water on me for all pets and all of my equipment gets cleaned between each pet use. I also keep my waist pack stocked with compostable poop bags, treats, paw salve and a water bottle for them. Your babies are my babies when I care for them. I will make sure they are safe and secure.

About: I have extensive background in animal care and behavior, I have worked as a vet tech and started my own non-profit for special needs cats and kittens in 2009. I have been in the animal welfare field for 26 years. There are 10 fenced acres and 2.5 acres fenced within that is all grass for the pups to play on! I am home the majority of the day, all week and can provide a fun and enjoyable time while you are away. I want you to feel comfortable boarding your companion, so there is no extra charge for special needs, particular preferences, etc.- this is a customized experience. Your pet companion will be cared for and entertained the entire time! Your beloved pets will be watched 24/7 (brief errands do arise). They will have stimulation, play, and comfy couches or beds to sleep on when rest is needed. Your pets will be treated like part of our family. I do have a standing client where I care for their dogs in the mornings, so if needed, that can be worked around, but generally early mornings are difficult to offer during the week. Weekends are open. I have a fenced yard, with 2.5 acres available to run and play. I have friendly dogs that enjoy other dogs if they want to play. I have seperate areas if your dog prefers to be alone. The seperate areas are located inside with temperature control, or if they prefer outside, there are dog runs.

To let you know a little about me, I am currently a UC Davis student and am looking to spend my time over the summer with some sweet animals! I have plenty of experience with many different animal such dogs, cats, and more. I know how to care for a range of pets as I have cared for senior animals and special needs animals before. I myself have a pup who needs medication every morning and night which come with side effects such as increase in thirst, hunger, and hyperactivity. So, I am well immersed with dogs that may require a little more maintenance. For house sitting, I’d love to meet your animals beforehand so they know who I am first and feel more comfortable when stay in their home for a prolonged period of time. What works best for me is a small yet informational note outlining your pets daily routine— things like when they eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, how much they eat, how often you would like them to be walked, where they go or what they do while I am out of the house, and anything else you feel is necessary. This lets me get an idea of what the animals needs/wants while I am there. This allows me to maintain a comfortable environment for them in hope to reduce any possible stress. For drop in visits: Usually I stay for about an hour and half per drop in visit but if more time is needed or requested that is not a problem! During that time, I will go on walks, engage in different activities with them, and check on food/water too. Also, while I am there if there is any other house maintenance that needs to be done such as skimming the pool or checking the mail let me know! I am happy to however I can. Overall, I hope to hear from you and meet all your pets soon! This summer, I do plan on working, likely part-time, so I will have lots of time to spend time with your animals and taking them on walks or other ways to exert energy! To keep the animals as comfortable as possible with a new person in their home I try to stick to a similar routine that they are used to.

About: I have been around breeds of all kinda. I have even taken care of a neighbor 3 dogs. They had a basset hound, boxer and an american bull dog. I love being around animals. It will be able to work with me and be able to be home for my daughter when she gets home from school. She loves dogs and cats. I will be able to care for the fur baby or babies in the client's home while they are away on vacation or just out of town for a few days. About: I’ve always had pets in my house since I was young, I currently have a German shorthair pointer that is always up for a run so we are both active I am currently not working so I have time to take care of your pup or cat so they don’t feel lonely while you’re at work or running errands. I make sure my pup can run around and get his energy out in the gated yard, and make sure he isn’t getting into things he shouldn’t.
