“Savana felt "right" at our Meet & Greet. Lily and Moses seemed comfortable and I was happy with her demeanor and interest in the cats. Met someone else earlier through Rover and was not comfortable. About: I am an experienced dog handler and temperament tester. I have worked in shelters for the past 8 years, and help run a dog rescue. I believe in, and practice a positive reinforcement training and reward system. I will provide a safe and fun and social experience for your dog. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am also well versed in the “crate and rotate” situation in the event there are animals in my home that don’t like each other. My schedule does vary and I do work weekends but animals are never left alone for more than 4 to 6 hours. Crate trained animals are required to stay in my home. I am happy to help with that sort of training.

About: I've always grown up surrounded by dogs, whether that was in my own household or around family. On my way to be a veterinarian, I continuously care for my own dogs, my neighbors dogs and spend my time volunteering at an animal shelter nearby, Father Johns, and ensure the health and safety of all ages of dogs. I am super excited to continue dog walking and care for your pets needs! Currently I am full time student at the University of Delaware, and am returning back in August. About: I spend a lot of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter! I have also had 2 German shepherds and 2 cats growing up. I currently work part time, and I don’t work every day. I can easily work around my work schedule to help out with your pups! I will care for your pet in your home. That would be the best for me and your pet! My home is not suitable for pets at the moment.

About: I currently own a cat, 2 dogs, and a reptile. Grew up with 3 dogs from 15 to 120lbs along with a cat, hamsters, 6 chinchillas, and at one point a rabbit. I have taken care of friends and families dogs and cats of all ages and sizes along with anything from fish to reptiles. Many of the things needed to be done was general check ins to walk, feed, play, overall mess cleanup of toys or accidents, cage cleaning, and night stays if needed. I have also volunteered at many shelters which consisted of dog walking, kennel cleanings, litter box scooping, and overall playtime. I'm used to bathing when needed and have a great amount of knowledge in many animals as I was also a manager for awhile at a pet store. I'm currently a stay at home mom who only works 2 set nights a week for 4.5 hours. I generally am up between 6am and 7am and don't go to bed until around 11pm. If I'm not home playing with my kids or pets I'm just tidying around the house or cleaning. I am almost always local to the area but if for any reason I'm not I always know ahead of time. After volunteering at shelters and having many animals of my own I have learned that patience is key. When meeting a new animal who may be anxious or scared, sitting quietly with them for awhile and allowing them to come to you on their own terms works the best. Forcing an animal to adjust to a human is not in anyway okay and only makes things harder for them to trust a human. Making sure an animal has a properly secured and adjusted harness or collar before going out is also a big thing I have always checked incase the animal is an escape artist. Before allowing a dog to go outside making sure gates are secured as you never know when one may be unlatched for any reason. When going on walks I am always aware of my surrounding for cars, people, other animals to keep all safe. If an animal is hypersensitive or reactive knowing ahead of time allows me to adjust accordingly.

About: i’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, i have my senior baby who is a 13 year old 80lb american bulldog sweetpie, and a year ago i adopted a border collie/ pitty mix who has grown into a 40lb ball of energy. so i have a good understanding of the different types of dogs and how their breed affects their personalities. me and my girlfriend will be doing this together in case of emergencies and to help. she has the same experience i do & she’s 20. we have to keep my puppy entertained for nearly all hours of the day. she goes to the dog park in the mornings for 2+ hours and we take her on hikes. she loves all dogs and is very well trained in all aspects. she loves playdates! i’m working part-time so we will have to schedule times for potty breaks/visits & for walks. i work 5 days a week all different times. i will treat your puppy like i treat my own. i believe in positive reinforcement with bad behaviors & i can incorporate training into the experience. in my experience i find e-collars & prong collars very rewarding. we can go over the tools that work best for you & ur dog as well as treats you will pre-approve. i only believe in the best for you & ur dogs!!

About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was three years old. I've always loved them! I've worked at a dog boarding kennel for over a year now and I love it! Before that, I worked at a farm with lots of different animals and I've watched/walked dogs on the side for a long time now. I also have experience with cats as well! I'd love to meet your four-legged friends and family! I work part-time at a dog boarding kennel and my hours are different sometimes. I'm either working 7am - 12:30pm OR 3pm - 7pm. I usually work the afternoon shift (3 - 7). Since I have worked with animals a lot, especially dogs, I definitely consider myself pretty educated. I can make exceptions for the other days of the week as needed I always make sure your dog is leashed and harnessed before leaving anywhere we are. I will always check that the water dish is fresh and full and that their environment is clean.

About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life, including puppies, kittens and seniors. I have also taken care of pets while their owners were away I am currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your dogs and cats!! I am in college right now, so as of now I can do Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays anytime after 3 pm. I can also do Mondays and Wednesdays anytime after 4. I can only offer care in my clients home. They will be cared for as instructed, with any special instructions strictly followed. They will be given personal attention as well.
