About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I provide regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and a calm environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, basic training, and monitoring behavior to make sure every dog is happy and healthy. I treat every pet like part of my family and send updates so owners always know how their pet is doing. I have free time during the day for potty breaks and check-ins. I am available most evenings, weekends, and overnight stays and flexible with scheduling I provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment for pets in my care. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and potty breaks. I pay close attention to behavior to make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. If needed, I can crate dogs or separate pets to ensure everyone stays safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I have loved animals my whole life either being around them or taking care of my own. Growing up I had 3 rabbits and always had a dog and fish. I have helped my family and friends out with their pets over the years. I went to horse camp for multiple years and have rode other people's horses and go riding whenever I get the chance. I have worked professionally in 3 different animal related fields, 1 year in sales, 1 year in rescue and going on 3 years of petsitting. I have a seasonal full time job that leaves me with a lot of time on my hands in the winter time. I started doing pet sitting in the homes of the pet since I wasn’t able to do it in my place at the time, but it actually works out better this way. I find that all animals I have worked with are easier to work with in the comfort of their own home. I am comfortable with working with any animals except snakes and spiders. I don’t have a lot of experience with reptiles but am willing to learn given the opportunity. I am comfortable working with any breed of dog, age and size. I am Fear Free Certified and strive to make any experience with animals as positive and stress free as possible. I have basic training knowledge that I have learned over the years from working with rescue animals and things I have taught myself and like to incorporate with my petsittings if allowed. I have trained puppies of my own as well as helping other people with their owns and also have experince with caring for newborn puppies and their mothers. I also have experience with senior animals and giving medications. I am also working on getting certified in animal CPR. I do have a current daytime job in Minot that I work around. I can do check ins on my lunch break and after work during the week as well as in home stays if they're in town and I am totally available for anything on the weekends. Any service outside of Minot city limits will be subject to an extra charge for driving if accepted. Any service requested more than 10 miles outside of Minot to be determined depending on location. Anyone that is planning to be gone for more than one day, I do recommend overnight stays. I don't like leaving animals alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time or leaving them overnight by themselves. I pride myself on interacting with pets closely and giving them the attention they need. Whether it is food enrichments, walks, basic training, bathing etc. I’ve also had my fair share of dogs that are totally fine with just cuddling and watching movies which comes in handy on bad weather days. I am also a very clean person so rest assured, you will come home to a picked up and tidy home.

About: Caring for dogs is second nature to me. As the former owner of a pet waste removal business, I worked hands-on with dogs and their environments every single day. That experience gave me a strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, health cues, and the importance of maintaining a clean, safe space for pets. While I work full-time during the day, I’m home every evening and fully present to give your pet attention, exercise, and companionship. What truly makes my care unique is the freedom and comfort I offer throughout the day. Your dog will have access to a safe, fully fenced yard where they can run, play, and explore. If they prefer being indoors, they can use a pet door that leads into a temperature-controlled garage, giving them shelter and comfort at any time. This setup allows your pet to move freely between outdoor and indoor space based on their needs — without being confined. Your pet will never be kenneled unless you specifically request it. I believe in creating a stress-free, home-style environment where dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

About: Hi there! I’m Veronica — a lifelong animal lover and proud owner of two dogs, Todd and Mia, and a cat named Mr. Meowgi. 🐾 I’ve been a Rover sitter for quite a while, but I took a few years away from Rover to focus on raising my daughter, working other jobs, and moving (twice!). Now that life has settled, I’m excited to reopen my services and get back to what I love. These days, I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting, since I live in an apartment and no longer do in-home boarding. I only have weekend avaliability, but if you need evenings on a weekday (7pm and later) I'm avaliable. Just shoot me a message. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments and always take time to learn each pet’s personality, comfort level, and routine. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and gentle with your pets — I treat every furry friend like one of my own. Walks are filled with love and energy, drop-ins come with plenty of attention and care, and I always send updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing. If you’re looking for someone kind, calm, and experienced, I’d love to help. Let’s set up a meet & greet so I can meet your furry family! 💛 I am only avaliable weekends (I work 10-1 on sundays) and weekday evenings after 7 PM. Please feel free to ask me about my avaliability. I prioritize creating a secure, trusting environment at your home. This means following all routines perfectly, practicing safe handling, and ensuring every drop-in visit is filled with positive, loving engagement for your cherished pet

About: I have grew up with cats my whole life. I figured why not bring that love and playfulness to the cats that may be home alone. With having two cats at home I know how hard it is the leave them alone for a long period of time. I am here to help! I am a teacher during the school year but currently have the summers off. I work part time at a golf course and was just looking for some extra hobbies! My cats at home are living the dream! I clean their litter once sometimes twice a day. I make sure to get play time in everyday with a variety of toys. If we are looking at dogs I believe in walks and exercise outside!

About: My mom and I used to foster animals growing up. I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, and a Guinea pig! I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life. I currently am babysitting randomly throughout the weeks, but am mostly home. Since it is getting nicer out and I have more free time I’ve been taking my dogs for long walks and playing outside much more. I have a fenced in yard and will be with the animals the entire time they are with me. I have 5 dogs and 5 cats and they are all very friendly and sleep in kennels in the garage. Otherwise they are outside and playing or inside cuddling on the couch.

About: I've been house and pet sitting for about five years and truly enjoy caring for animals. While I don't currently have pets of my own, I've cared for dogs, cats, and other pets for friends, family, and clients. I'm dependable, patient, and will treat your pets and home with the same love and respect I would my own. I've always joked that animals seem to choose me—and I'm happy to earn the trust of both you and your furry family members. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending quality time with animals. I'll make sure your pets are fed, comfortable, loved, and cared for while keeping their normal routine and treating your home with respect. I understand the trust it takes to leave your pets and home in someone else's care. I'll follow your instructions carefully, maintain their routine, and keep you updated so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.

About: I grew up on a farm/ranch and have been around animals my entire life, especially strong, high-energy working breeds like heelers and other cow dogs. I’ve trained all of my own dogs from the ground up, so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. We currently have a well-loved heeler and a chorkie puppy that I’m actively training, so I fully understand the importance of consistency, structure, and patience when it comes to dogs at all stages. I’m naturally very loving and attentive, but I also respect and follow any training routines, rules, or boundaries you have in place for your pet. Whether that’s leash manners, crate training, feeding schedules, or commands—I will keep everything consistent for you. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. We have access to great walking trails and open areas for safe, supervised play and exercise. Your pet will be treated like part of the family while they’re with me—safe, cared for, and loved. My days start early alongside my husband, so your pup will be on a consistent and structured routine right from the morning. The dogs go out for their first potty break, followed by a relaxed start to the day—usually coffee for me and either a nice walk or some cozy cuddle time on the couch until it gets light out. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I’m around all day to give plenty of attention, supervision, and care. Whether your dog loves relaxing, playing, or getting out for fresh air, I can easily tailor the day to their needs. I also enjoy getting out for little adventures, and I have a reliable vehicle that allows me to safely bring dogs along for walks or light hikes when appropriate. Your pet will have a balanced day of exercise, attention, and downtime—just like part of the family. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and any training rules you have in place. Dogs will get plenty of attention throughout the day, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing nearby. I’m always home, so they are rarely left alone and are closely supervised. I also make sure introductions with my own dogs are done slowly and safely to ensure everyone is comfortable. My goal is for your pet to feel at home, well cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Surrey stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
