About: Growing up, I always had a dog in my house. Around 12/13, I started sharing responsibilities for pet care and have continued since then. My mom always had small dogs, and I own 2 high-energy herding dogs. I understand the care for dogs who are more low-key to those who need lots of activity (and attention, just like my heelers). I am going back to school beginning in January, and will have classes a few hours Monday-Thursday. I also work night shift as needed, and my shifts vary depending on how many I pick-up a month. I will do my absolute best to assure your pets get the same routine they would if you were home! I have no problem playing, walking, or just hanging around and lounging.
About: I have previous experience with pet sitting and have had my own dogs for the past 20 years. I have experience with senior dogs and also puppies. I’m very particular about how things are done for my dogs, so I can be very understanding to any special requests that you have for your own pets. I work full time, as does my partner. Between the two of us we will always be able to get home and let out the dogs for a bathroom break and mealtime. And our weekends are wide open. Safety is always top priority in my mind. Having recently had senior dogs, I was constantly trying to think ahead about what I could do to avoid dangerous situations for them. Their comfort was also so important. I didn't have to repeat myself. We also went over safety issues regarding the keys and gate and keeping the pets safe. She is reliable, trustworthy, pleasant and sweet and it was a pleasure getting to know her, she truly loves and cares for animals. She also texted me when she checked in and out of the house. She also sent me pictures of my cats. When I got home, it was like I never left. She did an excellent job feeding and cleaning the litter boxes and making sure cats were fine.
