This amazing woman took care of my babies for a week and there was only one day she wasn't able to get here when it was icing. There were a couple days she WALKED blocks to my house in the snow and ice to make sure they were taken care of! She also cleaned up from when my pup had a couple accidents in the house on the worst days of the ice/snow. She went above and beyond for my fur babies and sent photos of the pets and the snow and gave updates about their doings and my water/heat/electric as well. You will be wonderfully pleased if you have her sit for you!”

About: I had a dog for seven years, and I took care of him like he was my own until he passed away. Since then I’ve been volunteering at the Humane Society, and I take care of a variety of dogs there on Saturdays. When I go to college next year, I’m going to for pre vet studies I used to volunteer on Saturdays for the morning shift at the Humane Society. I’ll be available to walk dogs, pet sit and stay week nights while on breaks from school. I have catsat my sisters cat for a week while she was out of town. I am a regular sitter for a client outside of my family. She is my mothers co worker and has 1 cat and a toy poodle. I can change the litter, put out fresh food, have playtime and cuddle. I also clean up any messes made by the animal and/or myself. With dogs I make sure to have time outside with walks and playing in the backyard. I treat every pet with kindness, and it’s very important for them to connect with me and gain trust. At the Humane Society, so many dogs are neglected and above cleaning their cages and feeding them, what they really need is quality time. I am patient with new animals to gain their trust. I let them come to me then slowly start to pet and play with them. I let them into my personal space and do enjoy cuddling and playing with cats and dogs.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a farm, where I had the joy and responsibility of caring for all kinds of animals—from dogs to chickens to cows and more. That experience helped shape my deep appreciation for the unique personalities and needs of every pet. Today, I live in a pet-friendly, walkable neighborhood with a spacious yard and plenty of indoor from for lounging, playing, or just soaking up the sun.
