About: I have had dogs my entire life. They have all needed different kinds of needs met during that time. Whether it be a bath, cleaning up an accident, providing medication, taking them on a short walk, I know that I can be helpful to you and your pet. I currently have plenty of time to come play or walk with your animal! Currently I have pretty open availability and if something wouldn't work, I would let the person known in advance. I will not be taking any animals into my home at this time. I have a sun room and a lead area in place if I have a dog over. The outdoor system would only be used if I were there.
About: While I enjoy all animals, cats are my favorite. I have loved and cared for countless cats requiring various levels of care from kittens to seniors. I have experience administering shots and medications, personalized feeding, cleaning, and even birthing. I have studied and researched cat behaviors since I could read. I love each fur baby like they are my own. I'm the friend that always has cat food in their car or leaves the party to sit with the cat that's hiding in the closet. I work full-time, but I have all evenings and weekends free to spend time with your pets. If nearby, I can make quick trips during the day. I can dedicate as much time as needed during weekends. I am also able to keep cats at my home if preferred for more interaction time and socialization with my two friendly kitties. Dog (or cat) walks are limited to evenings or weekends. Must have a leash/harness. I let the animals take charge for the most part. I find that they will tell you what they need, and it is up to you to interpret them. Structure can be important, but following their lead and understanding their instincts can save you time and energy. I also try to be firm when it comes to meals and treats. (sometimes a challenge!) Health and longevity are most important to me.

Growing up with family dogs and cats, and currently our funky boxer dog Rufus, I know what it takes to be a successful animal sitter and how much love they need. I work a full time job, from 9-4:30 pm Monday-Friday with the exception of one remote day on Wednesdays. Most pets are used to this schedule. I will ensure they will have potty breaks first thing in the morning, during my lunch break at 1, and then once I return to the home at 5. And then several throughout the evening and before bed. I will care for your pet in the environment they feel the safest in… your home. By allowing your animal to remain at home, it eases their stress and anxiety and gives them a comforting feel of familiarity. No need to pack up enough food and treats for the week. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
